๐ What a great fun class we had on Wednesday evening.
You all did amazing ๐ Great to see Spencer again too. โค๏ธ
1 space available for this wednesday if anyone would like it.
๐ A great session last night for the reactive dogs.
We had a couple of barks, but most of all they were all very chilled โค๏ธ We also mamaged to stop and chat, whilst dogs remained calm, which is huge progress.
Sorry, not a very good video, but i managed to get a little clip.
Wednesday evening Class โค๏ธ
I thought i got more videos but i cant seem to find them ๐ช. Will get some good one this week ๐
Recall
๐When these two were younger they had acceptional recall.
๐ชHowever when they got a bit older they grew in confidence.
๐But not only did they grow in confidence, 1 of them in particular kept/keeps rehersing chasing rabbits and ignoring the recall command.
๐ The more they rehearse this the more engrained its going to become.
๐So long line needs to come out, get their recall back on point away and around distractions
๐ But everyone who walks them, have to do the same. Which can be the hardest part.
Reactivity Street walk went super on Friday.
There was a lot going on:
๐ถLots of kids at the park and playing football
๐ Lots of dogs walking by
These two did incredibly well โค๏ธ
๐ With Zeus being retired now as a stooge dog, Thor is going to take his place. But how amazing - he use to be very reactivity now hes on his way to being a stooge dog ๐ Thank you to those who have helped me by coming along to the classes โค๏ธ
Next reactivity one is in the enclosed field next Sunday
Shes going to hate me for puttting this up ๐๐.
But look how solid Murphys Stay is ๐.
We practice things like this so that we get solid behaviours around distractions in the real world.
Well done for everyone who braved mondays class in, it was soooo windy.
I also thought i took more videos and photos ๐คท think they must have blown away with tje wind ๐
A couple more spaces available for the next Bronze Class in Beverley if you would like to join:

When you sign up to a training package you can get in touch with me at any time to ask for help and advice or send me videos to look at to give feedback or even send me progress videos like these ladies do โค๏ธ
Brussels owners came to me to help with his reactivity. So far they have only had one session of their package but the difference in their walks and in the car is fantastic.
Love seeing your progress, well done, keep up the good work. Thank you for the videos โค๏ธ
๐ Watching his human family members feeding the ducks near the water.
๐ถWhen he was younger he would absolutely hate them walking away from him and would get upset.
Now he can watch calmy at a distance whilst having his own little snacks ๐
Thank you so much to those who are helping me with my dog, i really do appreciate it.
Thor is pretty much spot on now with not reacting to other dogs. But i want to bring him to a new environment and get him working closely among others.
He came in nervous, but was enjoying himself towards the end.
So proud of Lucy and Harley who did a great job too โค๏ธ.
Anyone can join these classes whom have had a recent 1-1 session or completed any courses/programs for just ยฃ2.50
You may think, 'why so cheap? ' I know how important it is to you and your dog to have a safe enclosed environment to practice in once you know all the commands, techniques etc. It also allows me the opportunity to bring along my dog too :)
New dates being added soon
Thank you again everyone โค๏ธ
๐Had a super busy week. I met back up with a Frieda and her owners over the weekend.
๐ We walked through a little busy town which she did amazing. They were all cool as a cucumber ๐ฅ
๐ถ We then ventured off a little bit to see some dogs.
๐ Such a huge difference to when i first met them. Her owners are realy putting in the hard work.
They had a couple of bad walks last week, but this is absolutely normal and part of the process. Its never a straight forward uphill. Its a very much up and down process.
They have pushed through it and what a great job they have done. ๐
๐ Next session, we are now definitely ready to push her even more get her even closer to other dogs.
Well done ladies โค๏ธ
If anyone needs any help please dont struggle, send me a DM ๐ค

๐ค I absolutely love hearing from my clients in how they are getting along. Not only their WINS but also their STRUGGLES. Life is not a fairy tail, you will have the good, bad and the ugly.
Remember everyone is on their own journey. Some behaviour issues are much worse than others and more engrained.
๐This is what Brussles owners had to say:
๐ฌ "so big news! tonight we took brussey into pets at home for the first time and he did brilliant! heโs made us so proud with how he was. no barking, no growling. he picked his own toy and treats (of course๐). itโs a massive step for brussey and for us. we wouldnโt be anymore prouder of him than we are now X"
So proud of you all โค๏ธ
The 'orbit' is coming along nicely.
Ive been working consistently every day or two for the last 2 weeks.
Still got to improve on it, tidy things up (in my house too ๐) but hes sticking close to my legs now and the speed is also picking up.
Once hes fully confident and we get it spot on, I will then start to fade out my lure.
We all learn at different speeds - but also there are a lots of factors that play a role.
Patience and consistency is key.
It takes time to learn new things.
๐ถ I met back up with Frieda and her owners for their second session.
๐ They have put in a lot of hard work and look at the difference. We managed to get pretty close to some of the dogs with no reaction (sadly i didnt get this on video) which is a huge achievement in itself.
๐ถ Frieda is so much calmer and relaxed. Shes showing good signs of focus and engagement with her onwers.
๐ Next trip is somewhere a bit more busier seen as they absolutely flew though todays session.
Well done, you are doing absolutely fantastic ๐

He keeps still better then me ๐.
This is a prime example of Genetics. Ive never taught him this its something he does naturally.
He naturally loves walking in the undergrowth and hedges.
When he finds something he points.
Genetics do matter, they influence a lot of behaviours.
My little rescue boy โค๏ธ
Bows owners were struggling with Bows reactive behaviour towards other dogs. They werent enjoying their walks and found it hard to take her to places. She would carry on barking well after they had gone.
They followed the process.
.. And look at them now.
Walking through beverely town centre meeting and greeting other dogs without barking or lunging. We just need to fine tune the loose lead walking and a little more engagement.
I am so blooming proud of Bows owners for committing to the prrocess and putting in all the work.

๐This is what a little training session can look like.
๐ Im not asking my dog to do anything, except the odd sit. The only word im saying is a marker word.
๐คฉ What i am looking for is for him to focus and engage with me and he will be rewarded.
๐ฒ I took his breakfast out with me and used this as my training rewards.
๐ค Work on Focus, engagement and your relationship with your dog. You dont need to do high skilled obedience. Something simple like this is one way to help master some of your training issues.
