What a transformation! 🐢

Kayleigh contacted us as her family were struggling with Hunter's behaviour.

Hunter's behaviour was so extreme that he was scheduled to be euthanased, however last minute the family were unable to go through with it and fortunately came across us on Facebook 🐾

Hunter and his family have had 3 sessions with us so far and the difference in his behaviour is night and day!

In the video below you can see how Hunter reacted to me standing outside the home and entering the living room, then you can see how much he has improved!

Massive well done to Kayleigh and Leigh for all their hard work!

Training and rehabilitating dogs with the type of issues Hunter has can be difficult due to the severity of his issues and his size/strength.

If your dog's behaviour is becoming too hard to bare, please get in touch! There is always something we can do and miracles do happen when you have the right trainers and are willing to commit to training 🐢

We will be sharing additional videos in the future of the AMAZING progress Hunter has made!

Tyler has recently adopted Smokey from a shelter and has come to us as Smokey has a number of behaviour issues.

Smokey is around 4 years old and to say he has had a rough start to life would be an understatement! He has been passed around piller to post, never really having a place to call home until now.

Smokey is highly reactive towards other dogs and unfortunately, the shelter he was at did him no favours by rehoming him numerous times to homes that already had other dogs! Yep...they rehomed a dog reactive dog ( reactivity including aggressive behaviour) to a couple of homes that already had dogs...what could possibly go wrong? πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

When Tyler informed the shelter that he has plans to train Smokey, they told him 'nothing can be done' , ' this is just how he is', 'realistically Smokey isn't going to improve'.

Well, it's time for us to prove Brysons Animal Shelter wrong!

All dogs can be helped, trained and rehabilitated when you have the right trainer and a dog owner who is dedicated!

Smokey has already come along leaps and bounds in our sessions, and he is set to make a huge turn around. We will be uploading progress videos in the coming weeks 🐾

If the following people could drop us a message or email that would be great!

We have a couple of clients who have Cane Corso's and a potential ban has been very concerning.

As mentioned in this interview, this breed is not on the dangerous dog list, which means there is very little chance they will be banned.

Big well done to the 2 gentleman and dog in this interview. They conducted themselves very well and we able to get across some very important points!

We love receiving messages like this from our clients. Helping people and their dogs is at the heart of what we do πŸ’–

Pixie is often highly reactive towards other dogs ( and sometimes people ). We had our first session yesterday, in which we did some leash work as well as some basic management techniques. We will have a socialisation session in a couple of weeks...but it's wonderful to hear that things are coming along so well!

If you also have a reactive dog...please get in touch! Even the most severe cases of reactivity can be rehabilitated...you just need to get started 🐢

Thank you for the great review, Michelle! We look forward to seeing how Rocco comes along in his training :)

Dogs fighting at home πŸ“’

One of the most common issues people experience when they have more than one dog is inter-dog aggression. This is when dogs that live together don't get along, and often have scraps or fights.

The quicker you get help for this issue, the easier it is to resolve.

This is also not something you should tackle alone. Get professional help, because this issue can be quite complex, and if you get it wrong you could end up with a hefty vet bill or someone in hospital because they got caught in the cross fire!

If you have inter-dog aggression, please get in touch for help now. It takes A LOT of work to resolve this issue when it becomes severe which is why many people give up and get rid of one dog - because they left the issue too long and didn't have the time needed to resolve.

The peace of co-existence shown below is possible, but you need to tackle the issue head on with the right professional.

Drop us a message, or email:

Solving food aggression can be difficult! But did you know many people cause their dogs to develop this issue without realising it?

Some people will constantly take their dog's food away from them when they are eating. They think that by doing so, they are teaching their dog to be OK with someone handling or taking their food away.

This actually has the opposite effect! ❌️

This causes the dog to resource guard because they are expecting someone to take their food away, as they have experienced it many times before.

A dog should be relaxed when eating, not anxious because they are anticipating that you will take their food off them.

Imagine how you would feel if someone kept taking your food away while you were eating. You'd be pretty miffed about it too!

Allow your dog to eat in peace. 🍲

If your dog already suffers from food aggression, get in touch! We'd love to help you!
