✨Groom my no.1 Edison Bear with me✨
Ed’s is my best customer🤩
For the most part of his grooming process we have the dryers on😅 he’s such an angel😇
Along with his eye condition and removal, Edison also have severe hip dysplasia where his sockets basically were not formed at all😣
Edison goes at his own pace, he lies down on the table especially now that he is 7 and even when his back legs need drying or scissored I do this with him lying down for his comfort🥹
He’s the goodest blind boy you’d ever meet with a heart of gold😍
Check out his teeth clean at the end👀 he had slight orange thin tartar layers beginning to form over his upper canines😬
But he’s all back to pearly whites and fresh again✨

Evie’s dental health was in a position where Emmi-pet could assist🙌🏻
Her owner let me know that she usually isn’t fond of her mouth being handled but we’re able to work with a case of this nature to help desensitise them to the process at their own pace🥰
Evie was great today and took this new process in her stride while giving me cues to let me know she needed space and time, with each cue seen we stop, move away and give her the time to resettle👏🏻
🌟Today’s first 1 hour session🌟
🪄 Built trust with treats and loves
🪄 Introduced paste by smell and taste
🪄 Gently lifted lip and placed back down
🪄 Touched each tooth lightly with finger tip
🪄 Introduced toothbrush with paste for taste
🪄Used back of brush head outside of muzzle to steadily approach working inside her mouth
🪄 Finally reached ultrasound treatment on each tooth at her own pace
The beginning stages of introducing teeth cleaning is the most crucial stage for the dog!
This is their first impression that will be imprinted for their future sessions, we spent a whole 40 minutes building up our trust and gentle touch before even applying the toothbrush onto her tooth surfaces🪥
Her remaining 20 minutes with me resulted in all teeth receiving ultrasound treatment, healing of the gumline that was slightly inflamed and her molar staining erased which was amazing showing how far she had come in her short session🤗
Some dogs are more sensitive than others and may require more time to settle in as such, I love that the Emmi-pet treatment is a complete process of patience and not an instant result as you spend weekly sessions building bond with your client dogs all while improving their dental health and hygiene🤗
