Unfortunately it will not be safe to run lessons tomorrow, the arena is still frozen and everywhere is icy with no prospect of a thaw overnight.

Due to the arena being frozen, we must cancel all lessons, sorry for any disappointment.

With strangles being around the area here is a fact sheet on it for our customers to read ☺️

Please make sure you wash your hands thoroughly to make sure you aren’t spreading bacteria around and if you have contact with other horses, that you fully disinfect all clothes, boots and riding equipment !!

Due to an outbreak of Strangles (a very unpleasant upper respiratory tract infection) in the area we are asking anyone attending the yard to ensure they have not been directly in contact with other horses to avoid the possibility of passing it on. It is not airborne but the bacteria can be carried on clothing and hands. Please help us to look after the health of our wonderful school horses. Alfie modelling his new outdoor rug. 🙂

Christmas dressage to music 🎵

We wanted to try something different so on Monday 23rd we are hosting our first Christmas dressage to music, to get in the festive spirit 😊🎄

The way it works is you choose your Christmas song and plan a riding piece to match all the different parts of the Rhythm of the music when booking you will be given a list of things you need to include in your dressage piece , please see staff for more info 🎄🥰

Children spend the morning with us, includes a lesson, a hack out, a beautiful special edition Christmas rosette and lots more. On or off Lead Rein, age 5 and upwards ( a parent may need to stay with younger children). Wrap up warmly and get some fresh air! £40.

Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd Dec Tinsel Weekend. We will be “tinselling up” the ponies this weekend and invite you to dress festively too! Xmas jumpers, tinsel trimmed riding hats or however imaginative you can be! Fun, games and Christmas music in your usual lesson. Please let us know if you will be unable to attend as soon as possible.

PLEASE NOTE REGULAR LESSONS WILL STILL BE GOING AHEAD ON 28/29TH AND 4TH/5TH WEEKENDS SO PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU AREN'T ABLE TO ATTEND. THANK YOU
