What you can’t see in this video is the muntjac disappearing round the corner. Kali had stopped to make the choice between chasing or waiting and chose to chase- it’s in her genes! However her stop cue is pretty on point now 😊 recall and an emergency stop are both covered in our puppy classes and beyond.

Open today from 9-5pm. Our food stock will grow over the next few weeks and we are able to order in many different brands and bag sizes. The sheep bed has been hugely popular with 5 sold this week alone! The seriously strong orange dragon and crocodile, Tugg E nuff toys and snuffle mats are flying off the shelves too. We’ve had a really positive first week with the shop open and hope to see you all soon.
Places for puppy classes are being taken with new rounds starting mid April, limited slots in improver classes are also available.
Lastly with have some homemade dog treats, made by two local school girls raising money for a trip to Borneo to help with education facilities, and environmental and conservation projects. My dogs say the treats are super yummy!

Dressing and painting starts at the weekend- so excited to see it all finished
It’s the skill people find the hardest to master, but they want (and need!) the most. When I say you need to practice it from that very first step, indoors with no distractions this is why! Lots of eye contact being offered, ignored passing dogs and stayed by my side on a narrow path. Plus I have a bad back/shoulder so pulling is a major no go. Any dog can master it when the practice is put in 😊
A massive well done to Hugo and his owner Richard! Hugo had his first experience of being off lead yesterday and he did amazingly well 😊
Richard has never felt confident enough for Hugo to be off lead and when Hugo first came to us he was quite reactive to other dogs, he now copes so well in classes, is obedient and his recall and come on leaps and bounds. You should be proud of how far you have come 💙🐾🐾
Willow is 15 weeks now and only had her first proper walk this morning. Seven weeks of training at classes, in the house and garden and down our road. It paid off with a lovely lead walk! Don’t rush to get that pup out at 12 weeks, perfect practice leads to a happy walk for owner and pup!
