Every day with our dogs is a precious opportunity to deepen the connection we share. Those little moments—like a flawless recall or the joy of a wagging tail—serve as sweet reminders of the happiness we find in our journey together. As a dog behavior expert, I emphasize the importance of these experiences; they're not just training milestones, but true bonding moments. Reflecting on your own journey can bring more joy and understanding to your relationship with your furry friend. I invite you to share your favorite memories or lessons learned below! What’s your note today? 🐾❤️

❄️ COOL TREATS FOR HOT DOGS 🐶🍦

Is your dog melting faster than a forgotten Cornetto? 🫠
Time to whip up a frozen snack that won’t end in a sugar rush and regret.

✨ Try this DIY doggy ice lolly:
• A dollop of natural yoghurt
• A splash of water or low-salt chicken stock
• Chuck in some blueberries or banana slices
• Pour into an ice cube tray or lick mat and freeze!

🎉 Bonus points if you call it a Pup-sicle.
Even bigger bonus points if your dog makes a mess trying to eat it. (Tag us—we wanna see 👀)

Because hot dogs belong in buns, not on your patio.

Let’s Talk Thresholds 🐾

Been told to just ‘walk away’ when your dog sees a trigger — and wondered how that’s meant to help with training? You’re not alone!
Let’s break down why that matters…

Every dog has a different threshold — what one dog can walk past calmly, another might lose the plot over.

If your dog hits the red zone, they’re too stressed to learn. Barking, lunging, shutting off — they’re in survival mode.

🟢 The magic happens in the green zone — calm enough to notice the trigger and stay focused on you.

🟠 Amber Zone – your dog is alert, tense, staring, maybe ignoring you.
They’re on edge and creeping closer to a reaction.

🔴 Red Zone – full meltdown. Lunging, barking, shutting off.
Your dog’s not being naughty — they’re overwhelmed.

Want to stop the barking before it starts?
Drop me a message for 1:1 help — let’s find your dog’s calm zone together.

The Happiest birthday to Rob - who in his words turned 10+23 yesterday!
So he can still go out drinking and play with Lego! Genius!

We hope you had the best birthday yet 🥳

Breakfast is served!
We’re big fans of scatter feeding—it slows him down so he’s not inhaling his food, burns off a bit of that morning energy, and best of all… he loves it!
