Sooooo proud of this guy defying the odds and doing what he does, delivering in every phase @blenheimhorse this week 🥰🥰
Never has a slip between elements due to a lost shoe at the penultimate fence on the XC caused so much heart ache 😭 as a last minute (literally) 20 penalties blotted an otherwise brilliant round for Kate and the ever genuine MBF Dassett Legacy
The return to long format has been a long time coming 💪 but with a foot perfect clear show jumping round on the final day 👏and a 29 dressage 👌on the scoreboard he is a winner in our eyes 🎉🎉!
So many of our supporters were out in force over the weekend cheering the big man on and sending messages of support, it always takes a village to get this far and #teamzamalam is one special village 🥰🥰🥰

Well much like the scenery 🏔️⛰️, Blair 2024 was certainly full of ups and downs for #teamde !!!
However the weather 🌧️ didn’t dampen our spirits 🤪and there was much to be proud of despite the so near yet so far moments !!
Thankfully The big man #mbfdassettlegacy pulled it out the bag when needed 🥰 and proved that what he may have lacked in speed on the testing terrain he more than made up for in heart ♥️ nailing a classy double clear around the tough CCI-S4💪💪💪✅✅ #yeskate !!
Kate also had an educational trip with 6yr old Dassett Decision in the CCI1* who we will be sure to see galloping round some big tracks before not too long 👍👍
Hats off to @alice_rocher who had the ride of her life aboard ex racehorse and soulmate Winged Affair before testing the ‘bounce’ in the ground on the XC with just 1 fence left to jump 😖😱🤦♀️🐎!!
The smile on her face in all of the photos let’s you know she was having a pretty good time till that point !!
Blair always delivered great tracks, stunning scenery and the friendliest of welcomes .. we shall miss you always … ( but maybe not the rain😖🤣)

Kate had three out of three super rides round the XC with MBF Dassett Legacy producing an easy double clear for 7th spot in the OI 🥰 while #megamare Dassett Cooley Candy, belonging to @izzyrees_eventing and her Mum Maria finished just outside the top 10 👍👏and impressed in all three phases 💗💗
The less said about HHS Dassett Class dropping one of his “joke bombs” 💣 in the show jumping the better … ( did you hear the one about the monster that lives under the @walnuthillequinevets show jump 🧟♂️🧟♂️🤣🤣??) … However all demons were laid to rest with an exceptional XC round resulting in smiles all round at the end of the day 🤦♀️😊!!
@izzyhall_eventing also put her recent training efforts to good use by producing an excellent double clear in the Novice on her own Boleybawn Dassett Cruise 👏👏… Joey has also been known to tell a few “jokes” of his own so it was great to see them both back on form 👏👏👏
