We are expanding our natural dog treats range!
We have put in another loose treats stand so we can offer even more of a variety of natural treats!

As of next week it should be full up so keep an eye out when your in store!

Most fish will appreciate an offering of some greens every once in awhile, even these clown loaches! It is particularly important to give algae eating fish such as these Golden sucking loach some vegetation as the algae in the tank usually isn't enough to fully sustain them. Look at them go!

Something for you oddball keeps and definitely a firm favorite of ours here. The leopard moray eel is a freshwater species that will certainly require a tight fitting lid and a little specialist care to keep long term but they are fascinating to watch..!

We have a good selection of discus in at the moment both larger and smaller sizes available with a few more that arrived yesterday. Although maybe not for everyone they make a fantastic display tank and once fully settled, a well stocked discus tank can be truly breathtaking and a real talking point in the house..! 🐠 🐟

I really like this tank we have of glass catfish and the glass bloodfin Tetra add a little splash of color too! Something slightly different and very easy to keep with the added bonus that it does not require a huge tank. What's not to like 🐠 🐟

With this warm weather make sure your pets always have access to water. For cats we have these cat drinking fountains as well as a selection of water bowls. The Catit Creamys we sell can also be frozen and given to your cat as an ice pop treat!

Look at that teamwork! 🤝 these clever amano shrimp have figured out they can use the nerite snail to get to the glass they couldn't reach by themselves! 🧠 Both the the nerite snails and amano shrimp are great algae eaters and make a good addition to most tanks! 🧽 SCC/PS12/25

These Rams really do look good under the right light and mixed with a few nice Tetra species it makes for a beautiful display tank..! 🐟 🐠 ☘️

Our Super Serpae Tetra are looking wonderful today and with time will continue to colour up even more! A great addition for community tanks with no long finned fish. SCC/PS12/25

Pond fish have arrived! We've had the first of our pond fish arrive this year. Starting off with some lovely Sarasa Comets, Shubunkin, Lemon as well as the classic Red goldfish! These goldfish require a good-sized filtered pond and with good care will really put on size over summer! Tank in video was used for photography purposes only. SCC/PS12/25

Meet Perry the Mbu puffer fish ! 🐡 Fun facts: The mbu puffer becomes huge, up to 70 cm in captivity! It is therefore the biggest freshwater puffer fish species in the world! Come meet him today only at Southern Aquatics & Pets Southampton !

We still have some really amazing betta fish in! With so many different and striking colours. Like this one. Cody's Fun fact: Betta fish can breathe air! No, we’re not pulling your fin. Betta fish can breathe air just like you or me, thanks to their labyrinth organ. This special organ works in a very similar way to our lungs. This means they are able to breathe air at the water’s surface as well as in water. Clever little fishes! SCC/PS12/25
