This week at work 😊

It’s always exciting to see some of the less common breeds in our classes! Red Irish Setters with their beautiful silky coats, elegant Ibizan Hounds, and the unique wrinkled Shar Pei all stand out. Then we have the playful Brussels Griffons and the affectionate Maltese, each bringing their own charm. Dalmatians are such iconic dogs with their distinctive spots, while Bedlington Terriers have that cute lamb-like appearance. Italian Spinones are strong and versatile, and Boxers are just full of energy and love. Let’s celebrate these amazing breeds!

🐕 Our next beginners agility course will start on Saturday 29th March at 12pm, at Therapaws 'The 1st' Canine Swimming Pool, Kelly's Grooming & Dog Agility

🐕 Our classes are non-competitive, fun, sociable, and a great way to improve your bond with your dog.

🐕 We have many different dog breeds who already enjoy agility, not necessarily at a fast pace or over high jumps.

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ Suitable for all ages and abilities.

🐕 They can also help with recall, waiting, and general control.

🐕 Dogs need to be over 10 months old.

💰 The cost is £72 for 8 weeks, for 45mins, with a max of 6 dogs.

🟠 These classes are with a 30yrs experienced instructor.

🟢 If you would prefer some more individual training, then we can also offer 1 to 1 lessons.

🟠 Perhaps you would like to start with a friend, we also offer 2 to 1 lessons.

🟢 Also available, are hoopers lessons. This is a low impact sport, that doesn't involve running with your dog.

🗓 Weekday and daytime sessions too.

King Charles, 76, has a new puppy called Snuffand and is said to be besotted. The pooch which arrived last month is his first dog in more than 20 years. The breed is Lagotto Romagnolos, a member of the spaniel family, known for truffle-hunting. They were originally bred in northern Italy to retrieve ducks in the 16th Century. Mushroom foraging is amongst many of the King’s favourite outdoor countryside pursuits and so they are sure to make a happy pair.

The monarch’s last dog was a Jack Russell terrier called Tigga, which he had between 1984 to 2002.

The news follows revelation that Queen Camilla, 77, has also adopted a new nine week old rescue puppy from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, of which she is a patron. On an official visit to Canterbury last week, Camilla revealed the name, saying 'It's called Moley – it looks just like a mole.'

This follows the death of her beloved Jack Russell terrier Beth, another rescue from Battersea, who had to be put down in November.
