Barney's Dog Boarding & Day Care Fully licenced and insured Dog Boarding and Day Care from our family home in Bitterne Park Southampton

Our dog boarding and day care business is run from our dog friendly home in Bitterne Park, Southampton. We live very near to Riverside Park which has lot of open space for dogs to run and play and there is good access to the river if they want to swim or just have a paddle. We have a fully fenced garden and plenty of space if your dog wants some quite time. All dogs are treated as family and will

receive lots of love and attention. We do our best to keep to their usual routine whilst you are at work or away on holiday and we take into account their usual sleeping place whether that be in a crate, in their own bed, on our sofa or upstairs with us. We have a 7-year-old Chocolate Labrador X Springer Spaniel called Barney that we rescued from a local dog rescue charity when he was 3 years old. Since then, we have made many friends with lovely dogs and we now go on lovely pack walks at weekends in woodlands in and around Southampton. Barney’s Dog Boarding was created out of our love for dogs and they seem to love us too. We were very often asked to look after dogs for friends and people that we met on our walks so we decided to turn our love of dogs into a business. We have also just started to foster dogs for a local dog charity in the hope that we can help them prepare for their forever homes. All dogs must be fully vaccinated and up to date with any flea/worm treatment.
*We cannot accept un-neutered males unless under 6 months old*

Lovely boy Ralphy has come for his first sleepover with Barney. They went on their walk in the woods with Willow and Roxini. They also met up with Hopper and Blue too. 🐾🌳🪵🌿💦❤️

Barney has had a lovely holiday away near the sea for some well deserved R & R. He's enjoyed all of his beach and woodland walks and chill time on his own 'dog free'. Back tomorrow ready to start hosting again on Saturday 🐾💦🐚🌊🏖🌞❤️

Please can anyone help with fostering this lovely boy. He deserves a chance at a forever home and to be loved. He loves a lap and is friendly around other dogs but just needs a quiet place to relax for a couple of weeks 🙏🐾❤️

Little Pip has come for his first sleepover with Barney. They had an amazing time exploring the woods with Willow and Blue, with lots of sniffing and digging. They all had zoomies running through the fields and were joined by Bertie and Roxy on their walk 🐾🌳🪵🌿💦❤️
