✨ And just like that… our 7th birthday month comes to a close! ✨

It’s been a whole month of celebration, reflection, and a fair bit of mud (because, obviously… dogs). But as we wrap up June, I just want to say thank you.

Thank you to every client past and present.
Thank you to every dog who’s trusted me to walk beside them.
And thank you to everyone who’s supported this journey-whether through kind words, recommendations, or those little moments of encouragement that mean so much.

Nathan’s Paw Trails was born from a love of dogs, a lot of learning, and a big leap-and 7 years later, it’s grown into something I’m incredibly proud of:

🦛 You’ve heard of the game Hungry Hippos…
Well, picture this: Oscar, Rizzo, Benji, Luna & Pablo all diving into the water like a gang of overexcited hippos on a mission! 😂💦

This lot had an absolute blast the other day cooling off during their group walk - it was full-on chaos (the good kind), splashy zoomies, and soggy grins all round. Just how we like it!

🐾 At Nathan’s Paw Trails, we don’t just ‘walk’ - we create safe, structured and joyful adventures for our dogs, with trusted walkers they know and love. It’s about fun, enrichment and building bonds - both human and canine.

🐾 Mud? What Mud? 🐾

Please give a round of applause (and maybe a mop) for Winnie & Basil, who both - on separate walks - fully embraced their inner bog monsters this week! 🐶💦🌳

With the weather warming up, these two took it upon themselves to find the coolest spots in the woods… which just so happened to be the muddiest too. As you can see, they didn’t hold back - 10/10 commitment to the swamp life! 😅

But here’s the thing - they had the best time, and that’s what really matters. Zoomies were had. Smiles were wide. Legs were, well… no longer their original colour.

Huge thank you to their lovely humans for being so understanding (and hopefully well-stocked on towels). These are the kinds of walks memories are made of - and maybe the occasional bath too.

One of our lovely existing clients is increasing their dog’s walk schedule from 2 to 4 days a week starting August - thanks to a new job.

It’s always such a great feeling when clients trust us enough to expand their bookings. It also means Tuesdays are now fully booked for group walks! 🎉

🌟 A VERY BIG Nathan’s Paw Trails welcome to… Mixi! 🐾

This little legend was a rescue dog from abroad, and we are so proud to now have her officially join our walking family 💙

Mixi has recently started structured group walks with our lovely Teri - but this has been far from a ‘quick start’. Nope! We don’t just pop dogs into groups and hope for the best… We take our time. We assess, we observe, we build trust. And that’s exactly what Mixi needed.

💬 Teri has been doing check-in visits with Mixi for a good couple of months now, slowly building a bond and letting her feel safe in her own time. That’s what ethical pet care looks like.

Sadly, things hadn’t worked out with previous dog walkers - and Mixi’s pawrents had just moved to the area, feeling pretty stuck and unsure who to trust. Luckily, we were the right fit - because Teri has oodles of experience with rescued dogs, especially those with tricky pasts or more sensitive needs.

And here’s the extra special bit… One of Mixi’s lovely owners has been best friends with Nathan for over 20 years 🧡 So when they reached out, we absolutely wanted to do all we could to support.

Welcome to the gang, Mixi! You’re safe now. And very loved. 🐶✨
