As I’m sure everyone here already knows, I keep every little creature that I can in a naturalistic, bioactive enclosure. (It’s a pure addiction at this point! 😂😂) I know this isn’t everyone’s vibe though. I’ve seen a lot of absolutely gorgeous wooden ornaments, and beautiful homemade enclosures being created over the last few months. I think it’s wonderful that we can all pick a style that suits us. However, do remember that untreated wooden ornaments can mould easily in humid environments. Don’t forget to check that your supplier uses non toxic items to decorate their lovely creations. If you see any mould, check that your enclosure is well ventilated, and perhaps consider introducing a clean up crew to help. 😁 Always make sure that you’re comfortable keeping your humidity levels stable using different substrates, (no two substrates are made equal) or even no substrate at all. Remember that it’s always okay to ask your supplier how to do this, if you’re unsure.
