Today I got to spend some time with the lovely Torvi and her equally lovely family!
Torvi is a 2 year old working line GSD who just loves to play and play and play!
This was causing a couple of issues as she wasn't keen to give the toy back and on walks once play started she would then nag her family to play continuously!
We worked on some toy swapping which Torvi loved and a way to show her that play time was over that she wouldn't feel was punishing.
In later sessions we will work on using her new found skills when playing to help with recall when there are rabbits around to chase!

I am pleased to say that recently completed and passed the PACT Canine instructors course!

Meaning I can now register with both PACT and the The Animal Behaviour and Training Council as a Canine Training Instructor!

What does this mean?

This means that I use the most up to date ethical training for your Canine friends. Lots of positive reinforcement, be that food, toys or life rewards! Whatever your dog prefers!

It also means that I keep up to date with all the latest in the dog training world so if there's new, better way of doing things I'll be there!

If you would like some help training your Canine friend please get in touch!

I currently offer one 2 one sessions!

Today marks 15 years since I opened Dogs Plus Fun !

After 14 years working for other people mainly in kennels and teaching practical animal care in colleges I decided to go solo!

Thanks to everyone who has entrusted me with their furry friends over the years!

I have a couple of spots available for group walks in a private enclosed field if anyone's pooch would like to join the fun!
