I have over 20 years’ experience caring for my own and other peoples pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, rodents, reptiles, birds and fish! I also have over 15 years’ experience w
orking with all different breeds and types of dogs, including highly trained Military Working Shepherds, traumatised rescue dogs and pet dogs with varying levels of training. My qualifications include an NVQ Level 2 in Animal Care and a Diploma in Pet Psychology. I am also trained in Animal First Aid and fully insured. So you can feel safe that your pet is in good hands with me and is receiving the same love and care as if they were my own. I will always fully follow your instructions and focus on getting to know your pet so that I can give them all the attention they deserve. Dog Walking
When dog walking I strive to make the walks as interesting and fun as possible, I play and interact with your dog in order to fulfil their mental and physical requirements. I vary the walk locations and maximise the use of the local countryside nearby. When I walk your dog the time you pay for will be the time they are exercised for - you don't pay for travelling time. I assess each dog to ensure that those in a group are a suitable match. I will never let your dog off lead without your permission. Walk days can be flexible to suit your dog and I am happy to take regular or occasional bookings. All dogs will be towel dried after their walk and mud rinsed off with portable shower if required. I will also ensure they have fresh drinking water and can feed or administer medication upon request. Home Visits & House Sitting
Whether it’s feeding your cat twice a day while you are on holiday, popping in to clean out your animal hutch while you are unwell, or visiting your puppy while you are at work – my home visits can be tailored to suit your needs. Not only does this provide the care and attention your pet requires, but also the added security of collecting up post, opening/closing curtains and turning on/off lights while you are away. I also offer house sitting where I stay at your house during the time you are away, caring for your pets and your home, watering plants on request and meeting various other requirements. This is a much better option to boarding your pets, particularly for those who may not cope will in your absence. Be assured I will treat your home with respect and clean and tidy up after myself. I offer a pet taxi service for all pets. Perhaps they need to attend a vet or groomer appointment but you are unable to get them there? I will pick them up, accompany them to their appointment, and return them safely home. Alternatively I can offer a collect and drop service to meet your requirements.
