I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone, we’ve had so many visits and hugs, tears, flowers, chocolates and beautiful messages. Peppa touched so many people’s hearts over the course of her life and definitely changed the trajectory of my life as I wouldn’t have started Claires Wooferoos then Woofies Zoomies n Groomies without her.
So many of her doggy friends who were part of our original crew have also passed this same month it’s incredible so I hope she’s up there hanging out with her friends Ralph, Jazzie, Zeddy & Bailey xx 💕💕

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY PEPPA 💕

I can’t believe my beautiful girl turned 18 today. 🥳

We rescued/rehomed and renamed “Pippa” as she was previously called, at the beginning of 2009 when we lived in Spain and she has honestly been the best dog ever. Her mum was a Labrador and her dad was a sh*tzhu poodle cross and she’s like a mixture of all three.
Her previous owners had put a poster up at the local dog rescue centre - which was closed on the weekend, as they were heading back to England within days. I called and they met us in a dusty carpark with nothing but her paperwork and said we had to make a decision straight away as they needed to leave and finish packing. It felt very dodgy but it was love at first sight, Ariah and Kiana were only 3 & 5 at the time.
She was shaved to the skin with scabs all over as they said she had been covered in ticks as she lived outside with 4 other dogs (including her mum and dad who were brought over from England and we’re going back as they had pet passports - but it was a 9 month quarantine back then for Peppa who was born in Spain).
She cowered every time we went to touch her at first and followed me everywhere.
She came to the gym I owned every day and was famously our mascot and joined in the Pilates and yoga classes next to me on my mat, stretching out her legs as though she was actually doing the class.

When we headed back to England she obviously came with us but as she had spent 24 hours a day with me in Spain her separation anxiety was terrible, so bad that I started Wooferoos dog walkers so she could come with me to work everyday (now morphed into Woofies Zoomies ‘n Groomies as I expanded into grooming as well as the walking) She stopped coming out a few years ago now but she often hangs out in the grooming cabin with me instead.
When she was 9 we got a puppy called Boo to keep her company. Boo then had puppies, Hula and Lala so we became a home of four dogs. I never thought I would be one of those dog Mums that pushed her dog around in a pushchair but she just can’t keep up anymore and it’s either we leave her behind or I have to carry her so I thought as my human girls were both given cars for their 18th (as was I) it’s only fair as a family tradition then Peppa could have her own set of wheels now she’s turned 18 😂. Now she can come everywhere and walk a bit then ride a bit!
