From our stables, which are situated in Soberton Village, you can ride out on one of our gorgeous ponies in 'The South Downs National Park' without using public roads. The vie

We cater for both beginner and more experienced riders from 4 years of age and have DBS checked and First Aid Staff. 📣📣📣📣IMPORTANT NOTICE📣📣📣📣

Please can all customers of South Downs Trekking be aware that we politely request :

❌ ALL communication via phone call or text to please be kept between 8am and 4pm (emails at anytime)

⚠️ALL cancellations be communicated to us with plenty of time.

⚠️ Refunds will only be given for cancellations with a MINIMUM of 48 hour notice.

⚠️ALL bookings must be paid for at the time of booking. If a booking has not been paid for- it is not confirmed and will not go ahead.

⚠️ALL clients are expected to arrive at least 10 minutes before your trek time- you are expected to contact the centre if you are running late.

⚠️ ALL -group- treks will depart from the centre no more than 10 minutes past the trek time. If you are running late you must inform us. We cannot allow this to happen and hold up other clients within that group trek. If you are late and we have already left, we regret to inform that there will NOT be any refunds/concessions.

Why not come down and join us here at South Downs Trekking for a fun filled day of activities and learning?

On Wednesday 31st July & Thursday 22nd August (10am - 3pm), we are running an children’s activity day where you can get involved with and learn about:

🔸Grooming and Plaiting
🔹Colours and Markings
🔸Parts of the tack and tacking up
🔹Bandaging
🔸Yard Safety
🔹Field Management
🔸 Jumping
🔹and lots more fun activities!

During your day with us you will also have the chance to hop aboard one of our 6 horses and ponies to go out hacking and if you want to, have a little jump/do some ba****ck riding too!

For your day you will need:

🔸A packed lunch and a drink of water ( please do not bring nuts incase of allergies)
🔹A change of clothes
🔸Appropriate waterproofs and outdoor clothing
🔹Appropriate footwear - wellies or riding boots are preferred
