So excited about Noah (no-one around to video πŸ™ˆ) Today he learnt a whole lot of new moves - and took them all in his stride. That fantastic feeling when you know a young horse is ready both mentally and physically to absorb what he is learning and is working with you, is just the best feeling in the world. Taking time and understanding the horse you are working with makes the world of difference - and I am so pleased I have given him all the time he needs to develop. He was super proud of himself today! ❀️❀️❀️

It simply breaks my heart to see so much negativity around a sport I love. And it is frustrating not to be able to do something to help. We have been told that the FEI, BD and other organisations which run our sport - will - after investigation, make all the decisions that need to be made. We pay them to do this for us. I think we should let them do their jobs, stay calm and in the mean time do what we can to keep our sport and our horses happy. 😘

Just so amazed and super excited by my awesome horse. I asked Owen to introduce him to the gallops at the beautiful Ganderdown Stud for me. The picture says it all! Such a happy horse, beautifully ridden and a wonderful first experience. 😍

What a stunning day!
I have been very quiet on my page as I have been searching for my next dancing partner. Verve left big shoes to fill. For me it is not just about getting on and riding, it is also about building a special relationship with the horse you are planning to party with. It does not just happen, it takes hours, days, months, years to build that awesome relationship. Today I have felt inspired and excited by Noah (New York) rising 6 by Franklin, who I have really taken it slowly with. He has needed time to build strength, gain confidence and trust in me. Today I felt a bond which just left me feeling so excited! Fingers crossed that my next dancing partner is up for the party.

I have had so much fun with this painting. Started with an Owl and he was far too wise so I decided that a Peacock was more fitting to my mood and it temporarily put me back with my beautiful family in Australia.

Yesterday I went to help two clients at Crofton Manor. It is great to have Crofton back as a dressage venue and seeing all the organisers , judges and competitors there was just brilliant.
I was there to help a very special friend get going on her new ride, in the adv med. Building a new relationship with a horse is so exciting and I am so pleased to be a part of the start of yet another journey. And the second friend was someone I have only recently started teaching again after almost 20 years.
It reminded me that Success is not only about winning but building relationships with the horses we are blessed to ride and developing a relationship with them that is built on love and trust.
What an amazing sport we are involved in! πŸ˜„

I am really enjoying bringing on Noah β€˜New York’, by Franklin , bred by Jess Varillas. A big thank you to Annette Britton - for all the help and support - we have so much fun. Just love him and looking forward to the future. There is nothing more rewarding than working with a young mind.

I had two new clients to teach this morning, and a very special friend with a new horse yesterday. The smiles on their faces and the happy horses expressions is what makes this such a great sport and reminds me of how much I love what I do ! Fabulous end to an exciting week!

Belle and my first outing together at Quob today. It’s been a long time since I’ve been in the ring and it just reminded me - how much I love it! A few tiny baby mistakes but still scored a 72,5%. She was super and achieved a 9 for her medium trot 😍! I am so excited about working her up the levels! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
