When teaching group lessons on Tuesday, I mentioned that I had the Axolotl song going round and round in my head, which none of them had heard of.
I thought that was sad.

Calling All Dogs!

A new, specific, games-based recall course is starting in May! Held over three Thursday evenings, outdoors in a grass field to help replicate the 'real world'. We will teach you games to play with your dogs to improve their focus on you, their speed back to you, and their general knowledge of your whereabouts without you having to do the hard work!

These classes depend on homework being one between sessions, and we will have an online group with theory, videos and feedback offered to help support this.

Want to get the best jumping technique out of your dog? Have frustrating pole-knocking errors? Need them to use their body most effectively?
We will be giving lots of easy-to-replicate skills and sequences to help your dog use their body in the most effective way possible.

The first up of the Spring Season courses is the Fitness and Conditioning course! This course will get your dog ready for the season ahead, and give you plenty of exercises and techniques to take to classes and competition for stretching, warm ups and cool downs, as well as fitness maintenance between sessions.

We have some exciting new classes and workshops coming up in the next few months! I will introduce them separately but I thought I should get the schedule up!
The shows aren't in the calendar yet as I haven't confirmed exactly which arena we will be using, and I am also planning an 'evening camp' as well, as last summer's one was so well received!

Does anyone have any decent Hooper's photos they wouldn't mind me sending to Hampshire Pet Fair for their flyers? I cant seem to find any clear, bright photos of my dogs doing Hoopers!

On that note - we are running an Agility demonstration and a Have a Go Hoopers ring at the Hampshire Pet Fair in Wickham on 28th and 29th of June, and would be very appreciative of any help for demos or running the ring. You will get entry to the Fair itself and able to park near the rings.

We still have a couple of spaces available in our weekly agility classes - 2 spots for beginners and 2 spots for improvers!

Currently classes are indoors at Quob Equestrian Centre near Botley on Tuesday evenings. We will be moving outside from the end of this month, at which point we will also have a Thursday evening class in Stubbington.

Do I have any volunteers to judge our Independent Show on March 16th?
Indoors, 2 courses - including lunch we will be over by 2pm!
We cap at 30 dogs, so its small, friendly and we are happy to give loads of support for any new or aspiring judges!
I am also looking forward to the summer series, so any potential volunteers for our 3 outdoor shows (May, July and September) would be gratefully received!
