A few people have asked this week why I’ve had to increase my prices, to be completely honest I probably needed to increase them more, especially looking around at other places.
I know so many of you are more than understanding but just an idea of what Groomers outgoings are, other than the obvious enormous amounts of water and electricity, I use high-quality cruelty free products, there are lots of different equipment needed for just a single groom, all the equipment needs maintenance, sharpening, Pat testing and servicing not to mention wages, insurance, advertising and all the little extras that go with it.
Everyone has experienced increases recently and I do not like adding to peoples finances but mine have been added to as well. I don’t do this just because I want more money, I do it to try and cover some of the high increases I’ve encountered myself.
Please understand I don’t do this lightly if I could get away with not doing it I would but I’m sure if you look around other groomers you’ll see how much more they will charge, and hopefully five increases in 14 years will show you that. I also have 21 years experience in working with dogs and I’m very lucky to have the nice quiet set up that I do to make sure your dogs are happy and safe and have the chance to have a little sniff around and play before and after their groom🐾🐾
Apologies for the long post thank you very much for taking the time to read it. I just felt it was necessary to answer any of those niggly questions that people have.🥰

Garden safely this spring – check for hidden hedgehogs before mowing or strimming, and avoid harmful products. 🦔🌷

Hedgehogs may be nesting in the garden in log, leaf or compost piles, or even long grass. So make sure you cut grass or shrubs to a height of a couple of feet so nesting hedgehogs will be more visible.

And if you're using a fork, be careful and only put it where you can see it going.

Remember, when tidying up your garden this weekend, step away from using those nasty chemicals and leave a patch wild and undisturbed to provide food and shelter for all the small animals that take refuge in a bit of the untidy!🏡🦋🌾
