Last week was busy with cat drop ins, continued boarding with Alfie and Bertie and our regular daycare and a walk with Minu.

Alfie and Bertie go home this week after almost a two week stay, in time for Rosie to come and stay from tomorrow for a week, and Freya staying for two weeks from Monday

I’m now entering one of the busiest summers this year for me 😊
But here is a snapshot of what the last few weeks have been - dog walks, daycare and boarding as well as some flooring work being done.
Thanks to my clients who were able to accommodate last week and hopefully didn’t cause too much disruption 🐾

I have had a busy week last week with daycare, boardings and drop ins 😊🐾

We had wooded adventure walks, round the block walks, cosy sunshine naps and vocal cat drop ins 🐶🐈

I am now moving in to a very busy summer, with only 2 weeks left before my summer boardings start - I’d kindly request that the next two weekends are kept free for Bobby to have some time to get himself ready for all his friends staying right the way through until September 👍🏻🐾💙

After running the Great South Run 2023, I decided to sign up again for next year for a charity close to our hearts -

Bliss was founded in 1979 by a group of concerned parents who discovered that no hospital had all the equipment nor the trained staff it needed to safely care for premature and sick babies.

Determined to do something, these volunteers formed a charity to give vulnerable babies the care they deserve. 40 years later Bliss has grown into the leading UK charity for the 90,000 babies born needing neonatal care every year.

So here is our story...

I discovered what bliss was all about after our son was born 3 weeks early, by inducement and only weighing 4Ibs 9oz, after our perfect pregnancy encountered difficulties from week 33. As a first time mum and dad, we were told if we didn't keep his temperature and sugar levels up he would need to be taken to NICU. After managing to keep those levels up, I thought we were out of the woods and ready to enjoy our life as a family of three within a day or 2...

However, his bilirubin levels came in waves from normal to really high in quick succession resulting in him needing 18 hours of light treatment to break down jaundice and bring his bilirubin levels back to normal.

Although we had a positive outcome and able to leave hospital after 7 days, many other families are in for the long haul with hospital stays for there sick or premature babies.

A small donation can go a long way for such a crucial charity.

Another busy week last week, we saw the return of Bella and Luna for daycare after their month of family time with their human brothers, our regular daycare bunch was in full swing with Bruno and frank staying for one night and Freya too 🐾🐾

This passed week from Easter weekend to today has been very busy - boardings for Luna and Bella as well as our shy boarder Leoni. Drop ins on Link and Zelda who made me feel very welcomed after a few days with a few visits and back door waiting. As well as daycare from Talli and Loki 🐾😊

Another busy week… and the year is just getting started!
Freya stayed on Monday evening, Bruno and frank stayed from Tuesday until Thursday, our regular daycare crew came in for the days in full force!

I was back walking Bailey too!

Looking forward to the month of March with my upcoming daycare, boarders and drop ins 😊 if you have any of the above happening this month make sure you’ve sorted the necessary charges/bookings beforehand, I will have them in my diary too 🐾🐾🐾

There’s been new meetings of puppies for new daycare pals Bella and Luna 😊 Otto, Mylo and Roxy returned after half term and included wrapping up in blankets because Mylo was cold 🥶 and Loki checking himself out in the TV reflection 📺

19th April - COLLECTION BY 5PM
10th May to 11th May - ANNUAL LEAVE
4th June - COLLECTION BY 5PM / DROP OFF BY 3PM (IF REQUESTED)
10th July to 17th July - ANNUAL LEAVE
18th July to 19th July - LIMITED FOR DAYCARE
17th August to 18th August - ANNUAL LEAVE

If you have any holidays booked for the summer that you have not discussed with me already - send your requirements and I can see if I have availability left (daycare is not affected)

Will update my leave dates as the year goes on 😊🐾

Otto came back Thursday for daycare and had a very cold walk this morning with Bobby and Freya

As we start moving into December… on the run down to Christmas 🎄 I’m inviting owners to send your pup in Christmas attire (especially on 19th December) before I finish for my Christmas break 🐾

Here are a few pictures from the yesterday and the weekend. We have Chicco who has come for his first boarding session while his owners enjoy a well deserved break with there little one, Freya has come for a longer stay and will go home this evening. Bruno and frank are here every Monday evening up until Christmas 🎄 and we have our regular daycare puppies for a Tuesday (Roxy, Loki and Rosie)

I will be taking my holiday from 21st December 2023 until 2nd January 2024

Up until the 21st December, I am, for the most part, available for anything needs required

Since my birthday celebrations we’ve been really busy with our regulars and bookings coming for boarding which is great!

Had great drop ins with crystal tail end of this week before going away for my 30th birthday. She adventured outdoors in her garden and had a little drink from the bird bath, looked at me like I was fool for being there too early when she was still in bed and lots of belly scratching and food 🐾🐾

ONLY 2 WEEKS TO GO 😳

I have decided to take on the challenge of taking part in the Great South Run on 15th October 2023 to raise money for Endometriosis UK.

Endometriosis is a long-term condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other places such as the ovaries or fallopian tubes. Some symptoms of endometriosis include pain in your lower tummy or back (pelvic pain), severe period pain and pain during or after s*x and difficulty getting pregnant.

Since turning 17, I have suffered with ovarian cysts leading to taking medication to ease pain and even a laparoscopy with no clear answer as to what causes these and told they couldn’t confirm if my fertility would be affected. I know a very small amount of people in my life that suffer with endometriosis and the pain it causes.

A little donation goes a long way! Hopefully I can reach my goal by 15th October!

We’ve had a busy few weeks with puppies coming and going for daycare or boarding purposes. We have our regular drop ins (including a walk) with Benji and Bailey and our little one just loves Bruno so much he will cuddle up to him when Bruno is not wanting to wake early.
All ready for this week ahead 👍🏻

We have had a few quiet, sleepy days as our little boy has been unwell and waking through the night.
Yesterday we started the day at 3am 😳… so puppies are extremely tired but still find time for playing in between naps

What a busy week … Loki has come for his first boarding and with only a few days left he’s really settled and letting his cheeky normal home self come out; Rosie and Freya have also spent a night this week with some more lined up. Did two walks and drop ins on Benji and Bailey, Roxy and Otto returned from there summer holidays and drop ins on the lovely kitty cat Crystal… we are looking busy again from today until 28th September! Bobby is loving having his doggy pals over 🐾🐾

Too hot for our daycare pups today, so lots of shade and cool places with water as well as the occasional sunbathe

If you find your dog has become fussy with there current food or simply just won’t eat it. Highly recommend Pure Pet Food! Since trying this out dog cannot get enough and is very excited each time he has breakfast or dinner!

Our dog became fussy from the moment we got him, wouldn’t eat the food we were told he was eating, tried tails and he decided not eat his dinner most of the time unless he was super hungry from refusing to eat. This has helped him lose his extra weight and keep his weight around what he should be!

Go on, give it a try 👍🏻 - best bit is, even if you want to continue with biscuits you alongside this food too and tailors to a sensitive stomach🐾
