It is important pets have somewhere they feel safe when frightened๐ถ๐๐ฑ
Creating a comforting environment can not only be done physically but by tapping into their other senses using neutraceutal products such as PetRemedy, Adaptil and Feliway ๐๐ค๐
PetRemedy- is effective immediately and contains a blend of essential oils which work alongside the brains neurotransmitters to help calm pets. It is available as a spray and diffuser ๐ง
Adaptil & Feliway- these are pheromonal products that help to reduce stress and can prevent fears becoming worse (Adaptil is for dogs and Feliway for cats). They are available as plug ins, sprays and collars; the plug ins can have some effect after 24 hrs but ideally should be used for 7 days to get the full effect, the collars take 2hrs to take effect and can last up to 4 weeks, the sprays can be used alongside other products and is a noninvasive option by spraying on their bedding. ๐๏ธ๐ฉ๐งบ๐
