WOW what an experience!
I was SO nervous stepping out onto that green carpet amongst the best dogs in our breed

Sadly we didn’t place but I’m super proud of Rex after only starting our showing journey last Summer, qualifying for crufts at our second ever show & first championship show under an incredibly respected judge. When we first set out my dream & goal was to qualify for crufts one day & we did just that.

I can’t explain how much I love this dog & how he makes me laugh every day.

Now we go again & try to qualify for Crufts 2026

Growing into a beautiful lady!

We’ve been lucky enough to groom Ruby from a teeny pup & she is certainly blossoming into a lovely well rounded grown up. All thanks to her mum for trusting us & taking our advice with regards to grooming & starting her off in the right way with puppy introductions 🐶

Everyone who knows me (Sarah) knows that I take HUGE pride in my work & in my salon & business which I built from scratch back in 2019… I am forever re investing & sourcing the best tools & equipment money can buy, including products like our luxury shampoo range- yes I could use shampoo which is 1/3rd of the price but I choose not to!

This time it’s a big revamp & it’s looking fabulous already 😍😍😍 the final pieces are being completed tomorrow and then I will reveal all on Friday!

Labrador’s done properly 💪🏻 We bust a gut getting rid of all that dead hair so your carpets don’t suffer and your hoover doesn’t cry at the thought of picking all that hair up 😅😅😅 😴 Lovely Ex guide dog Lenny (salon favourite for over four years now 🥲) had a deep conditioning treatment on top of his double shampoo specifically chosen for his skin / coat type, a good blast 💥 with our professional dryers to shift that hair from deep down, a de shed with our specialist tools, a hygiene & pad trim, nails & finally a spritz of dog in a million so his pals at the park smell his handsomeness coming 😍 Lenny really benefitted from the cushioned table mats we have on all tables here to give his joints a comfy base to stand / sit on throughout his pamper. We apply the mud bath, and gently rhythmically massage the mud into the skin concentrating on the usual problem areas for dry / loose hair. The mud minerals work their magic whilst your pooch relaxes having gentle pressure and massage therapy, finally this is rinsed in a calming warm wash and your pooch is blow dried to perfection Bt our experienced salon staff. If you wish, you can also treat your pooch to paw & nose balm to moisturise and soften those pads before we trim their claws & apply a light spritz of specialised dog perfume to keep them smelling fresh. 🎀💕💙

Hi everyone, I thought id add a little ‘about me’ section for anyone wanting to know more...

I’m Sarah and I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2013 after starting off at a vets in Southampton in 2010, as a qualified vet nurse I am also registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Prior to that I completed a 2 year national diploma in animal management at Sparsholt College for which I achieved the highest grade possible of Triple Distinction.

I’ve worked in various vet practices all over the country and I am lucky enough to have been involved in some pretty amazing things, like surgically removing five rubber ducks from a naughty staffies’ stomach in the middle of the night one weekend!

I’ve worked in referral centres and as a senior nurse of a large Hampshire based hospital but since having my son I decided to branch out and train as a dog groomer with Jazmin at the multi award winning dog grooming salon known as ‘Shampoodle’.
