⭐️ *FREE* INTRODUCTORY R+ SESSIONS ⭐️

Hey everyone, I hope you're all keeping safe in the heat! Following on from my recent update, I wanted to share my plans with anyone who may be interested. 🥰

This summer I want to work with owners to teach them more about the world of R+ training! Instead of just focusing on training horses, I also want to help introduce the methods I use to other people too! So if you're interested in trying something different and fun with your horse this summer, keep reading!

You might be wondering about the benefits of R+ training. Don't worry, there's a pretty extensive list! 😉 So here are the reasons I personally love it and why I want to encourage more people to try it!

~ It's great for all horses! Young, old, retired, competing, mares, stallions, bays, and greys, any horse can benefit from R+ training!

~ It can increase variety in your training sessions! If you're stuck for fun groundwork ideas to try with your horse, R+ opens up a whole range of new possibilities.

~ It can be used to help your horse overcome their biggest fears! Have a horse that hates loading? Have a horse that doesn't like they're feet being handled? Have a horse that hates worming? Once you've figured out the basics of R+, the principles can be applied to any training scenario! You can make anything your horse hates into something that your horse LOVES. (Well, maybe something they dislike slightly less at least 😆).

~ It can be a great way to bond with your horse. An important part of R+ is reading your horse's body language as well as managing yourself and how you approach certain situations. It can be a great way for a new partnership to get to know each other. 🥰

~ It's low energy so is perfect for something to do in the hot weather. 😅

There are so many more benefits, but if I were to list them all then we would be here forever. You'll just have to try it for yourself!

Hey everyone, long time no post, but I have been busy with uni! It's summer now though, so I'm hoping to get back into it! 🙈

Last summer I was privaleged enough to work with some amazing horses and their owners and this year I would love to do the same. However, this year I am going to be running things a little differently. After some reflection following on from last year, I have decided that I want to wait until I have more experieice to continue with the same behavioural work as last year so that I can fully ensure I am giving my clients the best service possible.

This summer, instead of foccusing on helping horses overcome behavioural challenges, I want to focus more on the horse and owner as a partnership and help them develop new skills. I want to help people explore new ways of communicating with their horses and new methods of training which can be used for a wide variety of scenarios. I hope that by doing this I can increase awareness around equine behaviour and learning theory, and also help some owners have some fun with their horses and learn new skills.

I will be posting a full 'advert' of what this will entail, but for now I just wanted to keep you guys in the loop and share my plans with you all! 😁

If any of my clients from last year would like to continue on from where we left off then please also give me a message. I would love to continue working with as many of you as possible. 🥰

Hi all, I just wanted to write a post dedicated to all of the wonderful clients who gave me the chance to work with their horses and ponies over the summer! I will always be incredibly grateful for the opportunities that you all gave me. I can now say with more confidence that I am able to train multiple different horses in many different aspects of their life. So thank you all for taking a chance on me. I hope you were all happy with your horses progress and I'm sure I'll be seeing many of you again soon when I'm not at uni. :)

Hello and thank you for visiting my page. My name is Hannah, and I am pleased to be offering behavioural training and groundwork services to anyone local to the Southend area! 🙂 My approach is based in learning theory and equine behavioural science and is fully flexible to suit each horse as an individual.
Many horses experience anxiety about one thing or another at some point, but for some horses and owners, this anxiety can get in the way of daily tasks or necessary procedures. If you feel your horse or pony may benefit from some help with learning how to face their fears in a fun and relaxed way, then give me a message! 😁
Potential problems that I can offer help with include, but are not exclusive to:
- Loading
- Clipping
- Vet / Farrier procedures
- Horses that are head shy
- General anxiety and spookiness
- And so much more
Currently, I am only able to offer my services around my university timetable which means I am mostly only available during the holiday periods. However, please do not hesitate to get in touch in the meantime to secure an appointment or see if I can help in any way! 😊
