Stick on tablet fish treats. 2 ‘flavours’ available. Shrimp or Algae. These are the shrimp ones in use here. Loved by most fish.

Welcome back to us.
We’ve still been here, just having a bit of trouble with Facebook.
The display Rio 125 has bedded in nicely. Nice mixture of fish in here including 2 of the biggest hill stream loach I’ve ever seen.
Angelfish, tetras, Rasboras, rainbow fish, pencil fish , a few Plecos and a few Corydoras and a shark 🦈.
The sessiliflora needs a bit of a trim, grows so rapid.

Slowly glowing up.
Cynotilapia Afra.Cobue.
When we got these in a few months back, I was hoping they were going to me bigger than they were. It’s taken a little bit, but they’re finally starting to colour up. Still only about 2 inches, so still more growing to do and hopefully much more vibrant colour coming.

one of our nice regular customers is needing to rehome a couple of green spot puffer fish. They're about 1.5 inches and are probably ready to go into brackish water now or soon, and he cant do that himself.
If you've got a suitable set up or know someone that has, drop a comment and we'll sort out facilitating the move.

A few videos stitched together from feeding the fish today.
Some of them go mental for a bit of frozen foods. Had a few cups with different mixes today , but there was bloodworm, mysis shrimp, brineshrimp with garlic and vegetable mix.

Good afternoon Everyone,
Hope you're all doing fantastic on this slightly miserable day.
LONG POST BUT STICK WITH ME.
As hinted at yesterdays lots of deals to enlighten you all to.
Basically we're going to try to have an offer everyday for the rest of the month to try and thin out/clear out some of the fish we've got lots of. With that in mind I tried to think of a fish for every letter of the alphabet (harder than you think,🤣 it took me a while) and rather than do it day by day, I'm going to drop the whole list here and then you can plan when to come if you want something cheaper.
Pretty much all the fish on offer are in stock, but i had to order a few to fill in the gap-THESE MAY OR MAY NOT TURN UP AND I'LL TRY TO ADJUST THE OFFERS AS NEEDED.
So, here is the list.
I left out A, as I had too many options and it didn't fit my timeframe for sorting it all out 🤣
The only days offers that might change areHillstream Loach, Indian Glassfish, Quadrifasciatus Datnoid and Yellow Prochilodus.

The importance of water testing.
A Guy come in with a sample of water from his daughters pond, saying that one’s died recently and others don’t look right.
This is the Ammonia test.
Clear water in the test tube, 8 drops of one chemical and 8 drops of the other. I could see it changing colour almost immediately.
I thought that can’t be right and I’d done the test wrong, so I did it again and timed it.
The instructions say leave the test for 5 minutes. Well, it didn’t take that long.
I’ve seen bad tests over the years, but nothing changing that quickly.
Obviously we helped him out and he was very appreciative.
So, if your fish look bad, get it tested sooner rather than later and you can get some advice/help and hopefully save your fish.
