Help me congratulate Hugo and his mum and dad Lara and Sam for completing their reactivity program. Hugo particularly enjoys looking at dogs and then coming back to Mum and dad for a treat. At the start of the programme he was barking at dogs. He also turned out to be smashing at all kinds of training and is maturing into a wonderful dog.
Help me congratulate Teddy for progressing to the distraction stage of his co-operative care training.
Help me congratulate Carson on his continued progression with reactive dog training. Here we simulate head-to-head contact with a this way u turn at the end. I will let you guess which dog is Carson.
Little Teddy learning his chin target duration for his co-operative handling. Well done Vicky and Martyn.
Super proud of Lauren Webber smashing the recall with Lady. Clearly lots of work going on here.
Help me congratulate Brodie and Sue on progressing to orientation training stage on session 6 of his reactivity plan
Notable mention for amusing Bassett ambassador dog Mia who had me smiling the whole session.
(Member of public's dog in background in case you are wondering)
Yet another example of a wonderful client who just gets out in the field and smashes out the reps no questions asked. And the benefits are there for all to see.
Help me congratulate Lauren, James and the Cocker Spaniel Chester. This is Chester on the fifth session of his reactive plan now walking just a couple of meters from ambassador dog fox red Labrador Oakley. We had to build up to this over five sessions, Lauren commented this is the closest he has been to a large male dog in as far back she can remember.

From bouncy to less bouncy with a little bit more self-control ♥️🤣
Help me say a huge well done to Wendy and Bert!!!
Wendy contacted me with her angelic adolescent show cocker, Bert. Wendy wanted to understand how to direct his bouncy energy a bit more efficiently.
When I arrived, he was indeed very bouncy, and I got lots of kisses (I wasn't complaining). One of the things we worked on was sending Bert to his bed and getting him to stay there for situations when snogs were not appropriate.
Wendy invested in one of our training packages, put a lot of effort into the training, and you can see the results in this video.
What I love about this training is that we didn’t need to use any punishment, physically abuse him, or crush his spirit. He is still hilarious and an absolute blast. But now he has some more skills. We had the best of both worlds. We just used lots of repetition, good timing, and had fun doing it.
If you would like help and inspiration directing your dog’s energies more efficiently and kindly, please comment "kindly" below.
