We just wanted to say a huge thank you to everybody for supporting us in our virtual marathon event to raise money for Rescue Me Animal Sanctuary.

Our final total was £400 🎉 hopefully this goes a little way towards helping a local charity that does an amazing job and is close to our hearts 🥰

Aside from all of the physical donations / sponsors, the amount of encouragement / advice / support we got from many of you during our training period was invaluable.

Well we did it 🎉
wasn’t pleasant (for me 🫣 Simon seemed to breeze it!), wasn’t a pretty sight and wasn’t the fastest of times - but we finished and we ran / jogged the whole route - no walking!

We had a minor tech issue and an issue with my knee but it’s done!
Thank you so much to everybody for their support throughout this process and thank you so much for all of the kind donations.
We will put a final total once all offline donations are collected in.
Hopefully it will help Rescue me animal sanctuary in a small way with all of the fab work they do ❤️

This dog was found tied to our door this morning by a passerby who alerted the staff. They are unfortunately suffering from a few untreated medical issues so we will be seeking veterinary care ASAP.

If you recognise this dog or you have any information about where they might have come from please call us on 0151-931-1604 and speak to reception.

Longest run in the training plan done ✔️ 20 miles 🎉

We were literally crawling the last mile!

we’ve ‘jiggled’ the training plan around a bit to fit in with our upcoming work commitments so an 18 miles and a 14 miles training run to go over the next 2 weekends and then taper before the big day!

Adult female French Bulldog found in Marshside, Southport tonight 16/08/21. No collar/tag and her microchip is not registered in the U.K. she also appears to have eye ulcers/infection in both eyes. Please share or tag anyone local. Proof of ownership required ❤️❤️❤️

So far......... running 40.65km (& a broken treadmill 😢 which was being used for wet / windy days).
Cycling 33.07km
Walking 120.2km.

My aim is to hit at least 100km in each of the 3 activities by the end of July 🤞 x
