My one and only clutch of the year laid today. 6 good eggs from this pastel enchi pied poss het hypo bred to a pied poss het hypo. Long odds on hitting a hypo but I’m super excited to hatch my first pieds 🥚

The way the genetics work there was a 25% chance of hatching a bumblebee so I’m really happy to beat the odds and get 4 out of 8 eggs. I’ll keep one or 2 and the rest will be available 🐍🥚🐝

A few babies from clutch 1 have finally shed so I’ll try and get them feeding in the next couple of days. It’s nice to get some animals in the hatchling rack at last!

Pretty happy with that for my first attempt, it’s just a shame we missed the super Mojave, I was really hoping to hit a white snake. All Mojave’s have a really pronounced dorsal stripe just like the mother, I’ll keep 1 or 2 and the rest will be available.
