Last week, our vet team visited Wat Nong Pho temple to give annual vaccine boosters to stray dogs and cats. 🐶🐱
The monks warmly welcomed us and were incredibly kind in helping comfort the animals during their jabs.
Whether born stray or left at the temple, every dog and cat deserves access to healthcare — and the chance to live free from preventable diseases. Thanks to your support, this is possible 💚🙏

October was filled with wagging tails, muddy paws, and some truly wonderful visitors who gave their time and energy to help our dogs! From international guests to local students, every act of kindness brought more care and comfort to our pups. 🐾
A big thank you to Chris and Jade from the Ministry of Sound London, who joined us for a hands-on volunteering experience! They jumped right in — walking dogs, cleaning kennels, and spreading smiles all around the shelter.
We’re also so grateful to the five students from a local school, who helped with feeding, bathing, and daily care. Their compassion and teamwork brought so much positive energy to our shelter!
A special mention goes to MJ and Myhorm, who returned for their second volunteer visit this year. They brought their usual kindness and dedication, proving once again that once you’re part of the Jai family, you never really leave. 💞
And a huge shoutout to the 24 students from KPIS International School Bangkok and their Pawservation Club, who not only volunteered with us again but also raised 7,000 THB to help fund a new wheelchair for Caffe. Your continued kindness and initiative inspire us every time you visit. 🐕🦽
Every visit and every helping hand lighten the load for our team and bring more comfort and joy to our dogs. Thank you to everyone who made October such a heartwarming month of volunteering! 🧡

🧡 Happy Halloween! 🧡
We couldn’t resist getting into the spooky spirit! Some of our Jai Dogs absolutely loved dressing up… while others weren’t quite as convinced. But that’s ok, every dog has their own personality, and we love them all for it!
👻 Koko — Not entirely sure if Halloween fashion is his thing… but he’s giving it a try!
🎃 Mook — Loving every moment and striking her best “I’m fabulous” pose!
🪄 Patch — Still deciding whether this was a trick or a treat 😅

This street dog was in pain when we found her — swollen cheeks and struggling to care for her pups.
After a few weeks of treatment, she’s now healthy, happy, and back with her little ones — cared for by a kind local who opened his heart and home to them 💕
A huge thank you to everyone who helped Waan and her pups!
When compassion meets action, lives change.

After being hit by a car, Song’s back leg was badly injured. She was limping in pain on the side of the road when local villagers spotted her and called Jai Dog Rescue.
Our rescue team rushed her to safety, where our vets discovered the cause of her pain — a femoral head dislocation.
Thanks to the orthopaedic equipment funded by the SPCA grant and expert surgery by Dr Benz and Dr Nam, Song was able to receive immediate treatment, giving her a real chance at recovery.
After two months of care and rehabilitation, Song is now walking comfortably again and has safely returned to her habitat.
Every gift helps turn suffering into healing ❤️🩹🐾
Help us continue giving street dogs like Song the second chances they deserve.

Moo Deng is all grown up!
Back in late 2024, Moo Deng arrived at our shelter as a newborn stray pup—the sole survivor of his litter. Now? He’s grown into a charming teenager with a cheeky personality and a heart full of love.
His favourite quirk? Carrying random objects in his mouth and proudly parading them around like trophies! 🏆🌟
Moo Deng is currently living with us at the Farm and waiting for a forever home.
📍 In Thailand? Drop us a DM if you or someone you know would love to adopt him.
🌍 Abroad? You can still show him some love! A £5 gift helps us buy his favourite treats and toys.

Being born on the streets is hard enough…
But being abandoned after once knowing love? That’s a heartbreak no dog should ever endure 💔
This sweet mama, likely a Westie mix, was once someone’s pet. But when her owner’s love faded, she was cast out, pregnant and alone, with only her scared pup for comfort.
A kind lady tried to help but couldn’t catch them on her own, so she called us.
The mama dog was friendly, so bringing her to safety was easy. Her pup, however, was wary of people. With calm patience and a mild sedative, we gently helped him too 🐾
Both are now safe and settling in with the kind lady who opened her heart and home.
🙏 Thank you for never turning away from those in need!

Many stray dogs involved in road accidents may be lucky enough to avoid severe injuries such as broken bones, internal organ damage, paralysis, or even death, but that doesn't mean they suffer any less.
Aiang is one of countless dogs we’ve rescued from the streets with eye injuries after being hit by a car. Like many other strays, he endured the pain in silence, frightened and wary of humans — a completely understandable reaction after what he’d been through.
He underwent surgery to remove the damaged eye, relieving him of pain and preventing infection. After his recovery, a kind local stepped in to offer him care.
This might have been a happy ending — a forever home — for most dogs, but not for Aiang. His stress levels rose from day one, as his freedom was restricted to the adopter’s property. His fear of humans and aggressive behaviour didn’t improve over time. In the end, it became clear that he was happier living independently, and he was released back to the street where he seemed more at ease.
While we wish every rescued dog could find a loving home, not all are destined for that path. For some, ‘home’ means the familiar streets they know and the freedom to choose where they go. That’s why, alongside our rescue efforts, we continue to push forward with our CNVR mission to reduce suffering and prevent more lives being born onto the streets.

Streetdog SOS is dedicated to helping the millions of dogs who live on the streets in Thailand. Established in 2017 on a beautiful farm in the central Thai province of Nakhon Nayok, our mission is to care for dogs who have nobody to look after them, providing shelter through the seasons of stifling heat and torrential monsoons.
