Archie. Day 1 at school.... show off in the hope the trainers think there has been a mistake and you don't need schooling 😎🥸🤣
Willow has been with us a few weeks now and us nearing the end of her residential training course. She is typical of most fear based aggressive dogs that come to work with us. Very slow to settle in and in all honesty quite difficult to manage to begin with. But, once we start making progress with this type of dog, their confidence in us and what we expect of them grows. Good to see her relaxed and enjoying some enrichment time with the team away from training.
Heading into the weekend folks and it's set to be a beautiful one. Enjoy and be careful with the heat😊
Ozzy & Dougie making a good start to their residential training course. Their course covers reactivity to dogs and leash manners. They are staying with us as part if our Platinum Directors package, both dogs living and working with Jon.
A real character arrived yesterday!
Rocky😎
Seriously dog and car reactive whilst pulling like a steam train.
We ❤ him
Great start to the Bank holiday weekend with fab weather as well. Some of the team travelled to Swansea to handover Kaiser to @tivonge_r after his residential family protection dog course. We had a great time training Tiv with Kaiser and the traffic home was easy too😎
Cockapoo Companion dog, Honey.
She was sourced, procured and is in training with us as a Companion dog.
Her owners gave the Platinum K9 team a set criteria for the type of dog they wanted and the specifics of its training. The team did the rest and she is happily progressing.
At 4.5 months old, we think she is doing really well.

To Nottinghamshire via London and Costa Rica!! This little dog Lola is used to new environments and is settling in well. We have a lot of 'London' dogs with us atm. They are a mixture of big and small with a common theme, reactivity. They are all loving companions that react instinctively and impulsively in certain situations. In A rural environment you can perhaps get by or avoid problems with a reactive dog. In a big city it's impossible.
There is no 'cure' for high levels of reactivity. Some dogs are a perfect storm of genetics and learnt behaviour. Put those ingredients inside a big strong dog and you have a big challenge. But that challenge isn't insurmountable. Getting control of the dog, teaching him to control those impulses, then training the owners to maintain and develop them is the key. Consistency and resilience.
Kaiser and his committed owners are a great example of that.
Leo settling in, learning the basics and all with a smile on his face 😁
