Our lovely Emma B, has flown the nest onto her dream job to train with the police to become a dog handler and trainer.
We are very proud of her for such a brilliant achievement, she’s worked very hard for us and for where she is now and we wish her all the luck in the world.
Well done Emma, we hope you achieve all you want in life! 😘

Different kind of post today:
LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME

This is Ryder, almost 3 years old, Border Collie, male and intact.
He has boarded with us since he was 6months old but due to changed family circumstances is no longer able to stay with his owners.
Ryder is a nervous and anxious collie, on meeting new people can bark and growl but once he knows that you are kind and won’t pose any risk to him he’s the most playful loving boy.
He was raised cage trained as both the owners worked so would spend long periods alone and shut in - it may have contributed to his behaviour and he needs lots of love and patience.
He is very intelligent and has learned lots of new things at our place but has issues that need resolving - he’s barks at new people, pulls on lead, he has never bitten anyone to my knowledge.
He needs a home where owners have a good understanding of Border Collies and their needs, preferably in a very active home where he’d likely be an only dog (he’s untested around other animals).
He needs to be with someone invested in long term training, on lead and collie life in general.
He’s a loving boy, and we enjoyed him so much at Toot hill.
The situation is time sensitive and he’d be ready to start his new life asap.
They have been advised by one dog trainer to have him put to sleep which I couldn’t hear of. He’s a healthy, beautiful dog who needs company and time.
If anyone could help I’d be very grateful, we could help organise a transition by visit days to get to know him.
Anything really to help him find a perfect home x 💕
