Hi folks...

This isn't something we've wanted to do, but after a lot of discussion, we are going to be introducing a deposit system when making surgical bookings.
Our surgical appointments are very much in demand, and have to be planned very carefully with regards to travel - short notice cancellations can result in a logistical nightmare at best, or at worst leave us with a wasted appointment that could have been given to somebody else.

So going forward we will be asking for a £100 deposit per procedure at the time of booking (bank details will be provided for this if you don't already have them). This will be nonrefundable if the appointment is cancelled with less than 2 working days' notice, but we will of course take into account any exceptional circumstances - we do realise it's unavoidable sometimes!
