Yesterday, "Team Fred" had a wonderful grooming session. His progress and tolerance to being Groomed is coming on in leaps and bounds. (Please note, due to Fred's anxiety, Mummy stays during his groom, which is an absolute pleasure for all of us :) Mummy has been using a toe nail grinder on his nails at home, and they are now very much in check. Well done Mummy! Yesterday was the first time Fred allowed his entire body, neck, chest, head and the sides of his face (muzzle) being groomed. (With the exception of the back of his front legs - scissored these). He no longer requires a Muzzle and was so incredibly tolerant of being groomed. Although Fred still can not tolerate being dried by any method other than a towel, he left, much sleeker, cooler and silky smooth after a luxurious spa bath. I am so looking forward to our next Spa Day with Fred. Love, Donna XX

With great joy, Annie - this sweetest loving little girl, returned today for her 5 weekly scheduled groom today. She is such a loving and affectionate little girl, and gives lots of kisses to both Andy and I when she is with us all the way through the grooming process. Such a pleasure to Groom and makes this so rewarding and pleasurable. We love you baby Girl. Love Donna and Andy (Andy being your favourite of course! XX)

Lillybet returned to TLC Grooming for a soft and gentle Spa day this weekend. Except for her face, which she is not keen on being touched, she allowed a full groom today. She left silky smooth and ready to enjoy the summer having lost at least "two notches" on her body harness when she left, as so much hair was removed. Her body is actually very slim and sleek. Enjoy the comfort of being so much cooler in this heat little girl, and we look forward to welcoming you back in 6 weeks. Love, Donna and Andy XX

Sweet little Bella, whom is her Mummy’s entire world, returned to TLC Grooming yesterday for a much needed Spa day, after being through a major medical issue. (Our Beloved Fur babies are so strong and resilient, and astound me every day with their courage and fortitude).

Bella’s sweet happy story: Bella returned to us 6 weeks ago for her scheduled Groom. However, upon arrival, Mummy advised that she was not right physically and had been referred to Dick Whites/Derby Veterinarian Specialist the following Monday for investigation for a “possible” spinal issue.

Myself and Andy said that we “chose” not to Groom sweet Bella as we did not wish to contribute to any injury she may have, or aggravate this. (We are not Veterinarians).
With emotional love we trimmed Bella’s eyes so she could see clearly and awaited with our heart in our hands the outcome of her visit to the Veterinarian Specialists.

It transpires that not only was her Hip popped out of her joint (put back in by the Veterinarian), she also has a Lesion between her fourth and fifth vertebrae! This is being treated with medication, gentle care and physiotherapy at the moment.

**** We are delighted to report that Bella is doing very well, and according to Mummy is behaving like a Puppy again! ****

Bella returned to us yesterday (the Veterinarian was happy for her to return to us) and myself and Andy took the greatest of gentle and loving care of her. We put no pressure on her spine or hips, supported her entire body, neck and head with our own hands and arms (no gadgets) whilst we were grooming her and completed the Groom as as fast as possible.

When she was in the shower, I climbed in with her and supported her entire body, neck and head. She had a warm shower and I gently massed her body (avoiding the area where her injury is) and when she was being dried, she was in Andy’s lap so that she did not have to stand for any length of time.

We are delighted to report that Bella went home, Groomed, silky smooth, dry, and I am sure, ready for a well earned afternoon nap.

Little puppy Betty had her third only Spa day in her young life yesterday. She is going to be a dream to Groom going forwards as she stood on the table calmly for her entire groom, and even allowed most of her body to be dried with the blast dryer whilst in Andy's lap. It has been a true Birthday gift today, to Groom beloved Fur Babies. Little Hamish is a very special little boy and I was covered with licky kisses during his groom. After investing in an amazing new dog toe nail grinder, he allowed all of his nails to be grinded within a minute! (Wish I had purchased this device a long time ago). Thank you for being a part of my Birthday celebration little boy. Love, Donna XX
