Holbeach Fleet Vets are currently looking for a locum veterinary surgeon for the weekdays only. If you can provide cover even if it is only one day a week, then please still contact us.

We are a non-corporate small animal practice which focuses on a more client focused approach, we have been running for 20 years. We are located in South Holland (some refer to as a mini-Holland) in the market town Holbeach, South Lincolnshire.

The applicant must be capable of taking sole charge even though most of the time you will be working alongside another vet. The applicant needs to be competent with small animal consultations and surgery. Applicant also needs to be RCVS registered.

Practice opening hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 6PM.

Pay rate negotiable.

Additional Veterinary surgeon required

A full-time position has opened up at Holbeach Fleet Vets for a veterinary surgeon to join our friendly team to help with the workflow.

We are a well established, independent small animal veterinary clinic (non-corporate) whose focus is to offer a more client quality-based service. Our practice has been running for 20 years in the market town Holbeach, South Lincolnshire.

Candidate must be:
• MRCVS registered
• Able to take sole charge of the surgery (only 1 day a week would you be required to work alone and possibly when the other vets are on holiday).
• Competent with small animal (able to do routine procedures such as castrates, spays, at least)

Annual salary negotiable depending on experience, as a rough guide anywhere between £27,000 to £46,000 per annum but this all depends on the level of experience and skill. It is negotiable.
Your working hours are Monday to Friday, 4 and a half days.

We offer a generous CPD allowance.
Out of hours work is optional but available if you wish to earn extra.

COVID-19 measures
We are aware of the risk and impact covid is having, resulting in some practises having to close temporally due to infections. Therefore we do not allow clients to wait inside, nor do we allow clients in except for exceptional cases such as PTS but safety has to be adhered to in such cases to protect our staff. Masks mandatory for any clients that do come in and given to members of staff to wear. Plenty of hand wash and gloves available. Plastic screen at reception installed. 2 meter social distance markers.

Coronavirus safety please take note!

Can all clients please stay in their vehicles whilst waiting for appointments. Let us know you are there but then please stay in your vehicles. A member of staff will come to collect you when it is your turn for your appointment. Please also use the hand pump located on the wall next to reception.
