We have an opportunity for a part time RVN (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), or full time RVN to join our team. We are a very small but busy independent family owned veterinary practice. We are looking for a nurse who is happy to do ops and get stuck in with nurse’s consults. We are looking for a kind and empathetic person.

We would expect you to be registered with the RCVS and preferably have some relevant experience in the industry. We are able to offer you regular hours with all your weekends off and no OOH, which will ensure a great work-life balance to enjoy this beautiful part of the country.

We are offering a salary around £28-30,000 pro rata depending on experience.

This will be a public facing role where you will be doing consultations ( a**l glands, nail clips, second vaccinations, some repeat injections, bandage changes, post op checks, diabetes monitoring tests, urine testing, blood pressure testing etc.), answer phone calls, dispense medication, assist with surgeries, look after inpatients. We are looking for a patient, kind, caring and empathetic person who is interested in developing good client relationships within the nurse clinics. We only have one vet, so this is an opportunity for someone to take on a clinical role.

We are located in a small charming market town in Long Sutton, South Lincolnshire, close to the Norfolk border. We are only an hour and a half train ride to London, but Lincolnshire is known for their beautiful sunsets and nice nature walks.

Who could have imagined, when we decided to start our own practice in December 2023, how it would look like a year on. From looking at premises, cleaning and painting our building, getting equipment and more equipment, negotiating with reps for the best prices for our clients, to actually opening the doors on the first of May. It was a whirlwind!

Since we have opened, we have welcomed so many lovely clients ❤️ 🐾Some we already knew from where I have worked before and some new. This meant we needed to expand our awesome team with two people and a third who will start at the end of January.

And in 2025 I am hoping for further expansion in the services we offer with the purchase of some more equipment, starting with an ultrasound machine, but not ending there 😘 as my main goal will always be giving the best care to our patients.
