It's looks like I've burnt out after months of running on fumes.
Thank you to you all for the continued recommendations, but I am now not taking on any new dogs for any service until after the Easter break.
If you have something already booked, that is still booked and not a problem.

FOUND

We have had a cat brought in to our Sutterton Hospital this evening out of hours.

The cat is described as male, entire, ginger and white in colour. He is not microchipped and is not wearing a collar.

He was seen hit by several cars near St Thomas’ Church in Boston.

This poor boy is currently receiving treatment, and we urgently need to find his owner.

Please help us find his owner. Thank you to the member of the public who brought him to us.

Please call our Sutterton Hospital on 01205 345345, option 1, if you think he is your cat. We have a night team looking after him so please go through to the emergency out of hours line to speak to a member of staff.

Apologies to those of you that have waited a little longer than usual, to get an appointment booked for behaviour lessons.
One of my own mastiffs was diagnosed with distal radius osteosarcoma in January.
So i have been back and forth to a specialist vet for short notice appointments, whilst trying to keep her comfortable with palliative care around the clock.
Thank you if you have changed your appointment at short notice..

For many dog owners, dog walks can be stressful, worrying about off-lead dogs running up to their dogs.

For many dogs, another dog running at them isn't friendly, and they may react, they may Also be set back months or even years in terms of the training the owner has put in.

Lots of reactive dog owners have yellow ribbons, yellow harnesses or even a high viz asking other dog owners to give them space.

Reactive dogs do not have bad owners.
Reactive dogs are normally reacting due to fear, fear of dogs and/or people.
Reactive dogs are often in pain, and have a lower tolerance.
For some breeds, frustration plays a huge part as well.

If you see an owner being proactive with their dog, please know they're a good dog owner advocating for their dog.
