Gold star today for Carli. Sometimes she can be a handful to groom simply because sitting still is such a boring thing to do. However today she happily came in and stood absolutely perfect while she was cut, bathed and dried 💖

Some grooms are 100% about the comfort of the dog and not how nice the end result looks
Oscar visited today to make him comfortable, his owner recently inherited him and of course wanted him groomed ASAP, but Oscar didn't like grooming and wasn't making it easy for them.

He's done so well for his first visit and we all hope that as he gets more comfortable with us and his new family he will consent to more aesthetically pleasing grooms.

Today's guests: Jessie for a summer cut, or at least as much of it as she's willing to tolerate today. She does very well considering she used to have to be sedated at the vets to be groomed.
Stan for his summer cut, looking handsome and tidy with a short field cut.
Robin the foster pup in for her medicated bath. Her skin is looking so much better after a few weeks of regular baths and almost all her fur has grown in now!
Ted for a nice summer cut, as much as his mum would love him with feathers and a bit more length Ted just refuses to be brushed so he's gone for the short field cut this summer.
Finally Milo, he's an older boy so our only goal is to make him comfortable. Short and easy with a gentle shampoo to soothe his irritated skin.

Some lovely dogs to end our week. Rita and Loki were the favourites yesterday, seasoned experts who stand beautifully to be groomed and always leave looking so fancy 😍

Today Marley and Mindy showed how different doodle grooms can be, Marley gets a fluffy teddy bear cut while Mindy embraces her inner labrador and goes short all over. Finally two brand new visitors Milo and Theo, Theo was a little anxious at first but as long as Milo was with him throughout the process he was quite happy to be groomed, and they look so smart in their short summer styles 💕

We're not saying you HAVE to book with a professional groomer... But maybe that you should 🤣

Leo is not our biggest fan but he has a high maintenance coat and needs to visit often. Today he attempted channelling his inner wolf in hopes Kyra would rescue him from the horrors of the hair dryer. Unfortunately for him Kyra was not prepared for a rescue mission and his plight happened to occur during peak nap time 🤣

Been turned away from other groomers because your dog is too big? Because their breed has a bad reputation? Or even just because they're nervous? Here dogs aren't judged for things they have no control over, just because they're big or have had bad experiences in the past we don't want to turn them away. Our first guest of the day today, Tia, was one such dog. An Akita with a little anxiety, yet one of the sweetest and best behaved dogs for her groom 💕

For a young Cockapoo sitting still for a photo is so very, very hard 😂

Always satisfying to do, but so hairy 😂

Just can't beat those bath time head massages 😂

Sometimes when you've booked in for a deshed it doesn't really look like we've done much, but I promise you we get A LOT of undercoat out 😂

Getting your picture taken is sometimes hard work, especially when you're a Husky 😂 Sasha looking stunning after her bath and deshed, even let us give her nails a little trim.

A perfect start to our morning today with little Hugo 🥰

I think this is the first time I've been asked to doodle a poodle, but Alfie rocks the teddy bear look 🥰

Cassie the collie visited us today for a good bath, deshed and nail trim. She had some complaints about the nail trim but fortunately she's fluent in husky and had no issue making sure her complaints were heard 😂
