Fully licensed Canine daycare, we also offer training classes with an in-house dog trainer. All our staff are canine first aid trained. We offer in house pet first aid training with an in-house fully qualified instructor. Canine nutritionist on site Monday - Friday 3pm to 6pm
Sunday funday socialisation session from 11am. We have been established in Spennymoor for 9 years with a good reputation and we pride ourselves on our customer service.

We have had a few cases of mycotoxin poisoning recently. Its not a poisoning that folks are generally familiar with, so we thought we'd share the information to raise awareness.-
Ingestion of mouldy food from the bin or a compost pile puts dogs, cats, horses, livestock, and even wildlife at risk for toxicity due to tremorgenic mycotoxins. These toxins may be found in MOULDY bread, pasta, cheese, nuts, or other decaying matter like compost. Clinical signs include vomiting, agitation, incoordination, tremors, seizures, and elevated body temperature. A specific mycotoxin called aflatoxin can even cause liver failure. Be sure to keep mouldy food and compost out of your pets reach!
After the success of our first Doggy Afternoon Tea a couple of weeks ago, we’re doing it all again!
Show those pups and pooches some love with a pawsome Afternoon Tea for you and your four-legged friend at The Honest Lawyer Hotel.
Taking place on Saturday 7th September 2-5pm, we’ll be serving up a delicious feast for both humans and hounds with a range of treats in our bar area.
Traditional Afternoon Tea for dawg parents will include a range of sweet and savoury - from dainty sandwiches to freshly baked scones, cakes and pastries, while canines can enjoy sweet liver doughnuts, sausage rolls, pizzas and savoury muffins.
Tickets are priced at £18pp (add a 200ml glass of Prosecco for £7.95 or 2 for £12.50) and £6 per pooch.

Lola is learning she can’t pick anything up off the floor unless told… that includes dads dirty socks 🤣she’s also learning to not get distracted by Katie making chicken noises 🤣
