Today felt like a full circle moment.

In 2017 I adopted Pia and Lulu from Trish and Nade at Paws and Claws Adopt Foster Rescue and today I drove 138 miles to pick up a dog that was adopted out by them 6.5 years ago that now due to declining health the owner cannot keep him so he is safely back in foster.

Good luck Jim ❤️ and if anyone is looking to adopt a sweet little dog once he is settled and vet checked he will be available for rehoming so please do get in touch 🐾

Have a spooktacular day! We know Halloween can be scary for some dogs! Here are some quick tips to help keep them calm:

🎃 Keep walks during the day to avoid groups of trick or treaters who might overwhelm your dog.

🎃 Pop up a sign to warn trick or treaters not to knock if your dog is already a built in door bell. Use soft music or TV to mask doorbells and sounds.

🎃 Keep sweets and chocolate out of reach if you do go trick or treating to avoid any late night trips to the vets!

🎃 Try pet-safe calming scents like chamomile and offer distractions with long lasting chews, lickimats and snuffle mats.

🎃 Buy battery tea-lights for safer decorations.

🎃 Keep your dog away from the front door in case of escape.

🐾Impawtant Notice for 2025🐾

In April 2024 there was an increase in the national living wage and I made the decision at the time to keep my pricing the same and in the nearly 4 years I have been pet sitting I’ve only increased my prices once.

This being said my starting rate will be increasing by £5 a day for 2025. Taking my standard rate from £45 to £50. I really hope you all understand and continue to support my small business that I love so much.

*Bookings are from midnight to midnight of the date booked regardless of what hours you use.
*The standard pay is for one animal/pet so please expect extra charges if you have multiple animals/pets.
*Bank holidays are charged double.

Meets and greets will remain the same, my time is complimentary however to cover travel costs and prevent financial losses a mileage fee will be charged and invoiced on the day of the meeting.

Mileage is charged at 50p per mile for the return trip.

All bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Your dates are not safe unless this has been paid. I have to work on a first come first serve basis to be fair.

Your balance must be paid in full by the first date of your booking.

So please make sure you’re 100% sure on what dates you need/want.

In the event of a cancellation the deposit is non-refundable regardless of any circumstances.

*If for any reason I have to cancel a refund will be issued.

However should you wish to move your booking dates you must give at least 30 days notice.

If I am given less than a months notice on cancellations or changes of dates I unfortunately do still have to invoice for the remaining amount as I am a small business and it’s too short notice to replace work.
