MISSING PUPPIES UPDATE

TWO STILL MISSING - THEY NEED THEIR MUM

THREE FOUND - PLEASE SHARE

LET’S GET THEM TO MUM

Following our appeal about five five-week old puppies stolen we can confirm three have been found.

But two are still missing, both female Jack Russell puppies and they need to be back with mum.

People with any information are being told to come forward in the hope that the puppies can be returned safely to the farm.

The five week-old puppies, three bi***es and two dogs, were taken between 10pm Monday and 6am Tuesday (21st July).

If you know where these puppies are or have any information that would help with the investigation please call police on 101 quoting reference 16/76108/20."

Interesting info, Kennel Cough Vaccine and COVID-19

With the ongoing threat of Coronavirus and holiday season looming, we wanted to bring to our client's attention the potential risks surrounding the Kennel Cough Vaccine for clients with weakened immune systems, including those having contracted the COVID-19 virus.

The Kennel Cough Vaccine is a live vaccine, meaning that it can be shed. Therefore, any individual who is immunosuppressed, including those that have tested positive for COVID-19, are recommended to avoid contact with dogs recently vaccinated against Kennel Cough.

The risk of transmission is extremely low and cases are extremely rare, however with a duty of care to our clients as well as their animals we want to ensure that everyone is informed regarding this matter in these challenging times.

If you are deemed immunosuppressed, including those tested positive for COVID-19, and it is absolutely necessary for your dog to receive the Kennel Cough Vaccine, then it is recommended that you are apart from your dog for 6 weeks after the vaccine has been administered.

In light of the Prime Minister’s speech tonight we’d like to tell you all, we’re still open (never closed 😉) and if you are able to return to work but are worried that your dog has got used to you being at home, we offer doggy daycare and can look after your dog whilst life starts to adjust and you can return to work.

Please get in touch so we can see how we can help you - and of course your faithful, furry friend.

Angela Leigh and everyone here at Lindsey Houses kennels.

Under the Control of Dogs Order 1992, all dogs must wear a collar and identity tag in a public place. The tag must show the owner's name and address. Dog wardens can enforce this law and fines of up to £5000 can be given by the Courts for an offence.
