Well done to all the clinic people last night, Siân tested you and you all tried really hard!
The group have struggled with keeping the canter between fences and round corners; and therefore have lost the connection between them and pony - resulting in some very rushed transitions and flapping! So we did an exercise and built up to a 10 metre circle in canter in a corner, down to a fence, back to a 10m circle in the next corner, down to a fence and another 10m circle to finish - all without being allowed to fall back in the trot.
We discussed the three most important aids; seat, leg, hands and how they can influence a transition and help keep a connection!
A big shout out to our visiting clinic rider, Lucy W who joined the group as a first timer and smashed the exercise on none other than Lulu, who isn’t the easiest to manoeuvre round corners!!
Well done guys - I’ll be testing you next week 👏🏼
Lacy and Ziggy had some fun yesterday off the yard at an Arena XC lesson!
Little legs Lacy sure can jump 🫶🏼
The clinic girls were also on fire last night 🔥
Well done girlies 😊
We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our customers both past and present a very Happy New Year 🥳
We’ve had a superb year, welcoming our second Hundleby baby into the gang and we’re all now eagerly awaiting the next baby, from the original baby. 2025 is looking exciting…
2025 looks set to hold new and exciting things; maybe lots of changes both good and bad - but one thing that never falters is our excitement, joy and love for teaching children and adults here to ride.
We may not be the best, we may not always be liked, we may sometimes get our judgement wrong - but rest assured, everything we do is with people’s best interests at heart. However our number one priority is our horses, their care, welfare and reputation both on and off the yard and social media.
If we see something we don’t like, we’ll stand up for what we believe in if we truly believe in it.
All of us here love our horses fiercely; we love teaching kids to ride and getting results. We won’t massage egos just for the sake of it - we’ll continuously try to make our riders better and achieve what they want to achieve. We push where we feel necessary and we help people strive to be better.
We feel every comment, feedback etc about how we’ve done. We take everything on board that we receive. We are one big family and we like to feel you’re all welcome aboard.
We may be looking forward to some changes in 2025 but all of the above will never falter.
Have a lovely New Year everyone ❤️
We’ve had lots of fun and giggles doing the Santa run in Lincoln this morning! 🤶🏼
Woahhhhhh we’re half way there! 🎵
Hold my horse, we’ve got this and we’re nearly there…. 💪🏼
Another set of dedicated riders today - well done everyone 💜
When the waters frozen and the child is moaning she wants a drink…and you basically resort to trying anything 😂
Good try Bella, you just needed to stamp your foot in it 🙈💜
Earlier in September, Sian was asked by EC Pro to help them with a couple of questions for the The British Horse Society conferences.
I thought we'd share the video to give you an insight into why we moved to EC Pro and how its helped the business in terms of booking and efficiency.
A HUGE thank you to EC Pro for involving us - we were delighted to be involved! :)
Whilst Jordan was busy teaching, the rest of the “adults” were out hacking and making Tik Toks AGAIN!
We think this one is the only one that’s appropriate to share 🙈
Thank you to the girlies that came to the Halloween pony games…
We had a good laugh 🫢👻
We were counting strides last night in our jump clinic and working on corners, looking for our fences and recognising how many strides were between each fence!
Volume up to hear the girls helping Lola count! 🎤
Do you get the same number as the girls did? 🤔
