After an amazing 6 years running Hooves 2 Hounds I've made the decision to close for the foreseeable future. It's been a difficult decision to make but unfortunately it's not practical for me to continue to run this full time.
With my little boy having Cystic Fibrosis my focus is on looking after him and his health.
I'd like to thank everyone who has supported me over the years, I've thoroughly enjoyed this adventure and who knows I may start back up again in a few years but for now it's goodbye.
My new Venture is hopefully making pet & baby items such as collars, dummy clips, lanyards for keys and whistles and maybe dog tags.
Still not 100% sure on this but watch this space.

So I've recently decided to take a giant leap and set up my own pet services business, which includes a variety of services. I hope to be able to meet the needs of your pets.
I've always had a passion for animals since an early age, having a variety of family pets including horses, dogs, cats etc. Through out my life, I have been involved in different roles working along side these beautiful creature and have gained a lot of experience working with- in the equine industry, farms, and alongside dog walkers.
In 2009 I gained my level 1 and 2 in Racehorse Care And Management at The Northern Racing Collage in Doncaster, I then went on to work in Newmarket for around 6 year with a number of trainers which included Clive Brittan and John Gosden. I left Newmarket to then go on to Bedford where I Groomed/ rode for a lady who owned some wonderful showjumpers. Most of my life I have either owned or worked with these magnificent creatures in different disciplines.
From 2014 onwards I then decided that I wanted to combine my two passions, canines and equestrian into one. But first I wanted to gain a little more experience with working on my own, so I worked for a family who owned facilities at there home to have between 9 - 14 horses. I hunt groomed for them, I also rode and took solo charge of the yard, looking after there 3 dogs as well.
I currently own 2 Labradors. A male who is 4 years old and a female which is 8 both who are rescued. Also owning through out the years, 2 boarder collies, a number a reptiles, rodents, horses, cats etc, the list could go on :) if it was up to me and not my partner I would have a house full of dogs!!! So from 2018 I made the decision to go self employed and set up my little business called Hooves To Hounds Pet Services.
I wish to gain some more experience and qualification in the canine industry and to also take my animal first aid course.
