What the human lacks in social media prowess, we like to think we more than make up for with our orders. 😅

Whilst our socials have been quiet, we’ve still been busy in the background making all your pawesome cards and bakery boxes! From ‘just because’ treats, to thanking dog walkers and sitters, and the always popular barkday celebrations! 🎉

Whilst our Etsy shop will now be closed until Monday 17th June, it’ll be all hands (& paws) on the Dognuts deck to make all your dog dad orders, and prepare for our pop-up this weekend.

For those of you local, we will be at Amerton Artisans, ST18 0LA on Saturday 15th June, 9:30am-5pm for you to grab a last-minute dog dad card, or get your paws on a tasty treat or two. We hope to see you there!

What a weekend!

Despite only a few faults on Saturday racing was not on our side and we didn’t make it in to Div 1, but it is what it is and we so, so proud of our dogs.
We only ran a our fastest line up a couple of times, playing it safe and not pushing them. Despite that we still managed to break the Flyball Open World Cup record with 14.51 and 14.08 net 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Pawfect as a birthday treat, a ‘just because’ reward or if you’re not quite ready to commit to a larger hamper of treats!

The human first pondered the idea of starting a dog bakery over a decade ago. So, to say we are excited to finally see that dream come to life, is an understatement. Lots of happy dances are being had! ❤️

Hoppy Easter! 🐰

Wishing you all a treat-filled day! And hope those who are lucky like us and have a long weekend are enjoying yourselves.

Fun Fact: Ellie’s furmily used to climb this hill each Easter, throw chocolate eggs down it and chase after them. It usually resulted in lots of orange bums as they’re a clumsy bunch. Whilst I didn’t chuck my treats off the hill, I was brave and climbed up but there was no chance of getting me to run down it. Swipe to see if you can find me at the top.

Recognise that handsome pooch?! 😍

Groot recently took us humans on an adventure to Pooles Cavern in Buxton and had a pawesome time sniffing stalactites and embracing the cool, cave breeze!

Highly recommend to anyone looking for something a little different to do with the doggos! If you do go, stop by the café and see if you can spot Groot on the ‘Pooles Pooches’ wall!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Thank you for all the love, support, orders and ‘virtual fuss’ for Groot you sent in 2023. After taking a little break, we are excited to be returning to dognuts bakery, with both our Etsy and website re-opening tomorrow!

We can’t wait to put our best paws forward into the new year and see what 2024 has in store for our little business.

🐾 Impawtant 🐾

We have decided to close our Etsy shop for a little while. To go on more human & hound adventures, bake dognuts without thinking about pricing structures, and to make the most of our evenings and weekends together.

With Royal Mail wobbles, printer faults and price rises, 2023 hasn’t gone quite as planned. We want to pause our shop on a high, rather than a low and feel now is the pawfect time.

It’s not a furever goodbye, but a see you hopefully soon.

Thank you so much for all of your support, love, pet pics and more! We’ve had so much fun with Dognuts and hope to return when we’re ready, refreshed and re-inspired!

❗ IMPAWTANT UPDATE ❗

Unfortunately, our printer has been rushed into ‘Tech Hospital’ today, and we’ve been warned may take up to 10 days to be fixed or replaced. As a result, all open orders have been canceled with full refunds, and our shop closed until further notice. To say we are gutted is an understatement. 😭

We cannot apologise enough for any inconvenience or disappointment caused. We were really hoping what we thought was a minor issue this weekend, would be a quick fix this morning, but it’s clear that's not the case.

We’ve re-emerged from our unintentional socials hibernation to say hello. Although judging by this picture of Groot, he’ll be remaining in hibernation mode until further notice. 😴

Life has been busy both in and out of the dognuts den recently, which meant socials slipped down the priority ladder. But, we’re still here, still making cards and still testing bakes.

With life settling down again, and the human now recovered from the crazy dog dad day rush (thank you so much!) we’re hopeful to be a bit more regular on here! Please let us know what you’d like to see, more Groot snaps, card reveals, behind the scenes etc.
