Hi Everyone, I thought I would make this post earlier than expected, I am having to close the doors at the rescue, My family and me are moving up into Scotland meaning I wont be able to rescue anymore, It has been amazing doing this for such a short time and I thank you for all the support, In total we have rescued, 2 gerbils, 7 rats and 34 Hamsters I believe! We still have 20 hams in our care and time is running out to rehome them, and I am going to be putting up my very elderly blind dwarf as I just wont have the space) Some of our hamsters are going to the lovely Tiny Tails Derby so it would be amazing if you could go give their page a like!

Last night we lost our little Tubbo he was the first one we went to feed, I double checked everyone else after I made the post and found little Belle in her forever sleep too, everyone else is 100% okay and doing well but I’m not sure what happened I didn’t have an exact age on this little one but she seemed so happy the night before on her wheel, Sleep well our sweet little angels we love you ❤️
So we had some robos surrendered to us not long ago now! We have 2 nearly 4 week old ones and then we have mumma and little jellybeans! I’ll be posting updates on them as they grow up! But this is one of the little 3 week olds! How sweet! I also have more bad news on the way sadly that I’m going to make a post about now 🐾❤️
I hate to make posts like these, tonight whilst feeding everyone and giving them checkovers I found our gorgeous little Tubbo in his forever sleep, he was one of the 5 babies I rescued in September along with their mum and dad, his 4 siblings are still here and perfectly fine, run free little one 🌈🐾
Wilbur’s adoption fell through so this lovely little boy is looking for his forever home ❤️
Ivy is Still looking for her forever home she’s been here since December now! And is the Syrian that’s been here the longest amount of time! X
Meet Cloud! (ADOPTED)
I was going to keep this little dude but he’s really not happy in his 80x50 home he’s in and I know he would benefit from bigger and more time spent with him, he loves to come out but will nibble you not in a mean way but just curiously.
Cloud is honestly such an angel and I’m going to be sad to see him go but I will be very picky with homes for this little guy 🐹
He’s done such a long way from not being liked to be handled to being such a little character!
He will need a 100x50 cage due to being in a minimum size one and not being happy in it!

Meet Tink and Belle! (AVALIABLE)
!These girls will be rehomed on their own as they can’t be kept together!
These two girls were rescued 3-4 weeks ago now along with a male dwarf who is also looking for a home!
They are very small and are more like a watch not handle pet but will let you scoop them up but are very very fast! They were kept in a tiny tiny cage and were being given up on Facebook 😞 I don’t know their ages but they are not over a year!

Meet Bettie 🐹 (ADOPTED)
This little or should I say big girly came to us yesterday, she had barely anything in her cage apart from a handful of bedding and the basic food and water bottle and bowl along with a tiny wheel, she’s only 8 weeks old and is huge! So she will be kept on pregnancy watch for 4-5 weeks just to be on the safe side!
If you are interested in adopting Bettie you will need
- 100x50 cage MINIMUM as females are known to want a lot more space
- 28cm upright wheel 🙂

Meet Wilbur! 🐾🐹 (ADOPTED)
This little guy was an unexpected take in as we are in fact still full, he was going for free as a 5 year old got bored of him, he got dropped off to us in a horrible 3 tiered cage and smelt a lot 😞
He is a friendly boy who will allow you to stroke him but doesn’t like to be scooped up and freaks out, he will crawl out onto your hand given patience as it takes him a while!
Given he has only come to us this week he will be avaliable for adoption but won’t be allowed to go for another week just to check everything’s okay with him!

We will not be taking in any animals from this current day until we have our numbers gone down apart from emergencies! We have 20 animals in our care and 17 are looking for their forever homes, 2 rats, 1 Syrian, 2 robos and the rest dwarfs! Some have been with us months and months and we want them to find a home, the dwarfs here are very overlooked as we have only been able to rehome 2 at the moment, some are still skittish but we are working on this but we have 2 older girls who are around 2 who we would really like to find a retirement home for them, we have Pichu and Arlos whole litter still with us and all the 4 from December, we have had interest but none have gone! Thank you from all of the animals here at the rescue and we still have 3 more posts to make on little ones we took on last weekend too!
Meet Laila and Lily! 🐾 (ADOPTED)
These two girls were taken in last weekend and have already come so far, they don’t like to be handled at the moment and still are skittish but will come to the door and take some malt paste and say hello, they are 7 months old and very playful we often hear the odd few squeaks but they can overplay, we would like them to go to a home with someone experienced that can keep up the taming process with them along with them having some other friends so they have others to play with!

Meet Bear! 🐾🐻 (ADOPTED)
I forgot to make his post but he has since gone to his forever home today!
Bear came in with Simba where they had near to nothing in their cage and slept ontop of the sawdust, he had a tiny pink wheel that wouldn’t move that he could not even fit in!
He has since gone to a lovely lovely home where he can make up all his time missed on his wheel as he loves it, we also have the gerbils Sooty and Sweep going to their forever homes today what is amazing news!
We still have 2 Female Syrians and 4 Male Dwarfs needing homes and 6 female dwarfs! 🐾🐹
The 5 dwarfs from Pichu's litter are still looking for their forever homes as both their mum and dad have found their forever homes already, they have been with us for a while now and still are not 100% tame, they will all crawl onto your hand but will need patience as they are sometimes unsure and will run away if they are touched, we are working to give them a boost of confidence but they have already come so far!

This little girl is the only female from the litter that we took in!
She is a very sweet baby and is around 10-11 weeks old, She has a favourite pink house that she loves to pieces even with many different hides it is the one she always chooses!
Pip's 2 brothers Chip and Dale are looking for their forever homes but this little girl is currently Reserved until further notice! ❤🐾

Chip came into us along with his siblings due to an accidental litter, He is a very loving and cheeky boy, he is a lot more shy than his siblings but he is still very very friendly!
He loves his wheel so much and his whimzee chews!

Dale came into us along with his 3 other siblings in December as they had an accidental litter and could not keep these little guys!

He does prefer facing away from you though whilst trying to get photos but he is so cheeky!

Meet Squeak! 🐾🐹 (ADOPTED)
This Little boy came to me early December along with his 2 brothers and Sister as there was an accidental litter and the family could not keep them!
Squeak is a chubby little guy but is super friendly and loves a good fuss, he is going to his forever home on Monday, but his 2 brothers are still looking for their homes!

Meet Ivy! 🐾🐹 (AVALIABLE)
This little girl was rescued two weeks ago as her ad on Shpock was constantly at the back of my mind and I could not leave it!
She was advertised on the ad as a male but at further inspection today I was finally able to pick her up and check and she was infact a girl! Ivy is very mischievous and seems to always want to be around exploring or sleeping in her wheel, she is okay with being stroked and picked up but doesn't stay still for long!
Ivy will be able to leave in the next 1-2 weeks but for now she is available to be reserved! Please note if you want to adopt Ivy you will need the following:
- 28cm Upright Wheel (MINIMUM SIZE)
- Preferably a tank style cage, IKEA detolf would be best as the cage as she is known to want a lot of space as still barbites in the Barney what is 100x50!

Today was an exiting day for the hams! They received a package from Emily’s Pet Pantry and absolutely loved their treats! Safe to say they were a big hit! Here was a few of the good photos that I actually got as most of them ran away with it! Olive tried to pick the whole thing up and run off with it!

Meet Sooty and Sweep 🐾 (ADOPTED)
These little guys are approximately 1 years old and are 2 male gerbils!
They came to us last night as we saw their advert going for free on Preloved and immediately asked about them, due to some personal circumstances and no fault of their own they got advertised on there!
Sooty is on the chunky side so we are trying to put him on a little bit of a diet just to loose a few grams, he is the friendlier one whereas Sweep is quite timid, they aren’t cuddly pets and I would like them to go to a gerbil experienced home IF POSSIBLE.
To rehome Sooty and Sweep we advise
- A 28cm wooden wheel as they will chew a plastic one most likely.
- A glass cage such as an Ikea Detolf or a 30-40 gallon long tank! 🐾

Meet Simba! 🐾🐹 (ADOPTED)
We took in this little guy along with his brother Bear, the owner sadly lost their job and couldn’t afford to look after them anymore!
He is a really lovely boy and loves coming out in the playpen and being very nosy! He loves Shreddies as a treat as you can tell, it was the only thing keeping him remotely still! He loves a good fuss and doesn’t mind being handled either!

- A minimum of a 28cm (12 inch) wheel!

Meet Doris! (ADOPTED)
So this was very unexpected! This little lady is around 8-9 months old and was being given away for free as the lady’s dog kept trying to get to her, she was well loved and cared for but we took her in so she wouldn’t end up in the wrong hands!
Doris will need an appropriate setup of a minimum of 80x50 but we like to rehome our females with a 100x50 home and a 28cm wheel at minimum!

Our 5 beautiful girls have found their forever home all together to go with a lone female to keep her company and we couldn’t be happier for them!
It means as well we can bring in some more critters as we will have around 5 spaces free and we are already taking in a male Syrian on the weekend, we will post an update on our new rescue girl Olive later on as well x
Meet Olive! 🐾 (ADOPTED)
So I saw this baby’s ad on Shpock and immediately asked about her, she was housed with another Syrian and obviously they both started fighting and she was the one who was looking for a new home, she was brought out in a tiny cage not even an actual hamster cage, something more like a small bird carrier with no bedding or anything and wasn’t handled the best when being put in my carrier, she’s a quite chunky girl so we are just going to keep her on pregnancy watch as we don’t 100% know if the other Syrian was a male or a female but she will be looking for her forever home in 3-4 weeks!
To rehome olive you will need at least a 80x50 cage but with females we do always say 100x50 is much better for them, and a 28cm upright wheel!

We took in these little 4 today from a family, there was an unexpected litter and already had a few hammys and couldn’t keep these guys! I’m going to give them a few days to settle in but then I’m going to s*x them and split them off into groups! They are 5 weeks old and will be looking for there forever homes very soon!

So this little guy has settled in amazingly here, all of them had some chicken as a treat last night and safe to say it was a hit!

This little guys owner could sadly no longer give him the time and care that he needed so we went and picked him up! He is a very sweet and loving boy from what we have seen in the few hours he has been with us and is full of energy and always comes up to the bars to say hello!

I've been working on a few things to do with the rescue and I have been told by a few people to do an amazon Wishlist, I have tried to keep it as cheap as possible and add things we use a lot or need as we have 13 hams in our care and still bring many in! Meet Cree! 🐾🐹(NOT AVALIABLE)
He was rescued today about an hours drive away to get him, he was advertised on Gumtree for £20 but they wanted rid of him fast so gave him to me luckily, he supposedly bit their child as they wanted to try her with a pet, he came in a tiny pets at home cage with an unsuitable wheel and and hay as bedding along with the scented sawdust, he’s now in a hamster heaven with a 28cm wheel and cozy bedding for him to sleep in and has settled in wonderfully! 🐾
This little guy has took my heart and so he’s going to be staying with me now to live out the rest of his days and be the Rescues little mascot 🖤🤍
Meet Otis! 🐹🐾 (ADOPTED)
This wee little guy was rescued today, I was in shock at the state of his cage with not burrowing material etc and the state of his tubes as someone had just given him up! (See images below I have included them) He is such a sweet loving boy and looks to be very cheeky!
After a few photos on the groups that I am in, it’s been hard to actually tell if he is a male or not but we do definitely believe that he is as there’s no obvious ni***es.
This little guy will be available in two weeks for adoption 🐾🐹
