5 reasons you need to teach your dog the 'Two Ring Game'
Why? I hear you say...
Number 1: It teaches your dog a "drop" (perfect for dogs that retrieve but don't fancy giving the toy back)
Number 2: You are teaching your dog recall , shouting "come" on the return , the next throw is the dogs reward for returning
Number 3; Less people have rings for their dogs , so your dog will be less BALL obsessed & reduces embarrassing interactions on walks when your dog steals another dogs ball. Plus, balls can be over stimulating for some dogs , so you can still play games without the over stimulation and high arousal afterwards.
Number 4: Play is power , the more fun you have with your dog, the better bond you will have, resulting in a more obedient, happy pooch.
Finally, Number 5; Chasing a ring taps into your dogs natural desire to 'chase', therefore providing an outlet for your dogs natural instincts. This means , more engagement on walks and better recall against distractions (running things).
