Ashwood is located in rural Staffordshire, a short drive from Junction 14 of the M6, close to the village of Woodseaves and the nearby towns of Eccleshall and Newport. Holding regular showjumping, dressage, arena eventing and showcross competitions in our enormous Infinity Arena, which is also available to hire on non-show days as the pony playground. Set in 100 acres of unspolit countryside, we h

We are currently looking for volunteers/stewards for Sundays show!

Stewarding is a perfect opportunity to learn about showing and exactly what the judge is looking for.

Volunteers will be well cared for, fed and receive vouchers!

EVENTER CHALLENGE is a 2-phase event (SJ & XC) from 50cms to 80cms.

The competiton will consist of a course of Show Jumps on all weather surface, after which you will go straight onto the XC phase. There will be a minute to have a breather while you enter the XC start box and wait for the XC controller to count you down! The XC phase will be a shortened course making use of both the surfaced area and grass XC. The XC phase will be timed with an undisclosed Optimum Time. Penalties will be given for jumping faults and time faults. The horse & rider with the least accumulated penalties will be the winner.

Ashwood Eventer Trial - 2 phase eventing 🥳 Approx 8 SJ followed by XC. The XC phase will be a few minutes after your SJ, with approx 12-15 cross country fences on the grass XC, including water 🐎 💨

There will be a moment to have a breather while you enter the XC start box and wait for the XC controller to count you down! There will be one competitor on the XC course at any time, and assistance/support is allowed in all classes 😁 All tracks are aimed at first timers & novice/nervous. The XC phase will make use of surfaced areas, tracks, water and will include a grass track weather permitting, which will be strung off to assist where appropriate.
