As we have had so many lovely new pups visit us recently we thought we’d just reiterate our cancellation policy and the reason that we don’t give exact grooming times and our general pick up and drop off policies, we know this obviously seems like common sense however we felt we just needed to pop this out there again. ♥️🐶♥️

How long does it take to groom a dog?

Typically dogs take 2-4 hours to groom or in some cases longer.
But this is a case to case scenario because there are many factors that alter the grooming time.

* Challenging behaviour
* Senior dogs
* Anxiety
* Long haired breeds
* Matted or tangled hair
* Larger breeds

Please be patient with us or the groom could look rushed and that’s not our goal. We will call or text you when we are ready. And when we are ready we expect that you pick up your dogs within 30 minutes or less. There are a few reasons for this, if the weather is wet then dogs can’t toilet when finished because of ruining their groom. We work to a time bound diary which means extra dogs in the salon can distract other clients being serviced. We do not crate any of our dogs and offer rehabilitation services for some dogs that can be very nervous of other dogs or reactive towards them.

If you are 45 + minutes late for collection there will be a late pick up fee added to your groom bill as we will have to do additional work to accommodate them. Please plan ahead, we don’t want to charge that fee if we don’t absolutely have to.

Please also note that any dogs arriving for their time allocated appointment 15 + minutes late, will have their appointment cancelled and rescheduled as this has a knock on effect across the whole days bookings.

Finally we have a 48hr cancellation policy, no shows to appointments or last minute cancellations (less than 12hours) will be charged their normal groom fee.
