Great day catching up with some familiar faces..and meeting some amazing puppies and handlers in the display team (AMAZING display given they are babies!!💪🎉👏)
Bring on day 2...Gundog day!....its going to be a busy one!!!

Congratulaions to last nights classes👏🐾
It was Graduation night for the first puppy class of 2025 ...who worked their socks off to pass their Kennel Club puppy foundation award..
What started out week 1 as distracted puppies, some super confident and some a little shy..has grown into puppies that chill next to their friends and enjoy their learning...🥰🤩utter joy to watch!

This was then followed by our level 1 class who braved having a go at their Bronze Good Citizen test...
Again all of them smashed it!!.
With 1x inhouse level 1 award ( after just 1 class!!.😱😱🤩)...
And 3x Bronze good citizen awards!!🥉🥉🥉

I'm super proud of you all ...🎉🎉👏👏👏🥰🥰

🎉🎉🎉CONGRATULAIONS to tonights Monday night group...🎉🥳🎉
Who had a sneaky surprise Bronze and Silver KC Good Citizen award assessment was sprung upon them when they arrived!!🐾💪
I'm so proud of you all ..esp the 2 puppies who have only had a coulple of level 1 classes to prepare!..both went home with level 1 in-house awards🏠🏅🏅
We also had 1x Bronze pass🥉 ..and 1x Silver pass🥈👏👏

Massive THANK YOU to Ellen from Chase Dog Training for coming over on short notice and giving up her evening to to be an amazing assessor for us...🥰🌟🌟

Wishing everyone a wonderful 2025!!
As we draw 2024 to a close, and look back at a jam packed year...be that attending courses to expand my education(never stop learning...even more booked for 2025 !!)... assessing at national shows or team leading at Crufts ...
🌟..BUT BEST OF ALL...where my ❤️ is, teaching classes or 121s...and we have been lucky enough to meet some incredible people and their dogs (both puppies to the 🤔....little bit older !)..
And I thank everyone single one of you that has entrusted Castle Canines with the education of your dogs....🥰🐾

🎄🎄🎉That's classes for another year done!!
And what a way to end on the last week!!🥳🥰

First of all..Would just like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU ..to everyone single one of you that have chosen to train with Castle Canines.
Its been a very busy year, and 100% worth it to see so many handlers and their canine partners smashed training and grow each week....from puppies at the start of their journey, to older dogs who haven't had the best start to life.❤️
Well done👏👏..you really do get back, what you put in!

Arthritis and pain can affect dogs of all ages, and being aware of how best to help prevent as puppies, then going forward as they mature.....along with supporting our more senior dogs ...are extremely valuable skills...

Check out Rosecroft and have a chat with Katie if your looking for low impact exercise for older dogs...or even confidence around water for young pups...

I had a wonderful time at this course thanks to The College Of Scent Dogs Ltd ..
Dr Robert Hewings and Adrienne Wisok ...provided a jam packed, informative and thought provoking 2 days...
I got to meet lots of new friends, who all had a passion for using scentwork to build skills and help with training!!...
Can't wait for the next one !!!
