🐾🎉Yesterday was a happy day … our Disney 100year ✨ Celebration litter kitties had their very 1st Birthdays🥳 As you probably already know Maine C***s continue to grow and then fill out right up to the age of 4-5 years. It’s lovely to notice the changes and watch them mature with each year that passes .. I think they’re all looking very happy and healthy don’t you 🫠…. 🐾After a very successful supreme show last year as a kitten Bagheera did his first GCCF show as an adult on Saturday at only 10months 🤭 .. clever boy won all of his classes and picked up a best of breed and his first challenge certificates an adult 🫠🖤🐾

🐾Again another decision 🤦🏼‍♀️.. due to now having to many neutered cats I need to tentatively look at rehoming Rhianna our 6yo huge heavy neutered female . Rhianna is very timid and it will take time for her to settle wherever she goes. She is docile and kind has never been aggressive but she is a scardy cat who often hides under chairs or scarpers if there’s to many people moving around quickly in a room . Once she is settled she is extremely affectionate . She requires a lot of grooming which fortunately she loves and would be suited to a quiet home with perhaps just one or two people at the most . She is used to being around other cats but she is 100% a house cat . She is GCCF registered micro chipped and up to date on all her vaccines and health checks … I am in no hurry to rehome her as I will be very picky where she goes …. Please consider all the above as being most important if you are or know of anyone who may be interested before messaging me .. a small rehoming fee will need to apply 🖤🐾

🐾it’s not always easy being a breeder especially when you want to do everything you possibly can to be a very responsible one at that . Sometimes decisions have to be made that aren’t the ones you expected to be making ..
Here is Eva this morning looking remarkably well considering the week she’s had . When I went into this I armed myself with as much information as possible hopefully making myself ready for any eventualities . Eva unfortunately showed signs of Pyometra and I made the decision to have her neutered as I didn’t want to risk her health or indeed her life. Being registered with a governing body to ensure healthy breeding does mean that over breeding is is not tolerated and unfortunately there’s always the slight chance between callings and waiting for enough time to pass before mating again that the empty uterus can become infected with a build up of bacteria . So trying to do the right thing inherintly and very unfortunately still carries its risks … the main thing is she is ok ….. apologies to those people who have messaged me wanting an orange or black -silver tabbie and have been waiting patiently for news of pregnancy I know you will all understand .. bless you 🙏🏼🐾
