Introducing “The Silent Messenger”

The Silent Messenger captures the haunting presence of a barn owl, its eyes glinting with the wisdom of untold ages. Perched atop a fragment of weathered parchment, the owl guards secrets etched in time, whispers of forgotten letters and stories lost to the wind. The background swirls with celestial hues, where flecks of gold shimmer like constellations, blending the earthly and the ethereal.

The painting speaks not with words but with a profound stillness, its messenger a symbol of quiet strength and intuition. It beckons the viewer to listen—to the silence between thoughts, the mysteries in the stars, and the untold stories carried by the wind. This is no ordinary owl; it is a guardian of wisdom, a keeper of secrets, and a bridge between the seen and the unseen.

This original mixed media piece is mounted with an A3 mount, backed with card and cellophane wrapped. It’s easy to buy an A3 frame to fit, or gift it as it is.

It is ÂŁ70 with FREE postage to any UK address. Link for payment in comments.

Can I take this opportunity to thank everyone who has donated to our crowdfunder. Your support has been overwhelming and I can't thank you enough. Once the wind has gone we will post regular updates of the work that has been carried out. Please, if you are ever passing, pop in so we can thank you in person. Thank you from all at the sanctuary and also wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

Introducing “Hedwig’s Message”

Hedwig, the famous owl belonging to Harry Potter, with its piercing yellow eyes, becomes a focal point of mystery and knowledge. This art embodies both the natural world and the symbolic realm of thought or spirituality. The organic elements, such as feathers and natural textures, with the literary fragments and abstract brushstrokes creates a feeling of harmony between intellect, art, and nature. I wonder what message Hedwig has for us?

Day 3 – Saturday 7th December

Introducing “The Night Watch Owl”

The owl, perched confidently and gazing outward, symbolises wisdom, observation, and the quiet strength often associated with creatures of the night. Its bright yellow eyes are keeping watch over us whilst we sleep in the night.

The original artwork sold last night but today, I am offering you a beautiful hand embellished print of this one. I will sign each one and add special detail in acrylic to every print bought.

All prints will be A3. Mounted, backed with card and cellophane wrapped. It’s easy to buy an A3 frame to fit, or gift it as it is.

Each print is ÂŁ30 with FREE postage to any UK address. Link for payment in comments.
