Meet Nicki – the creative hands (and slightly chaotic brain🤣!) behind Barker & Browns!

A lifelong stitcher with nearly 40 years behind a sewing machine, she’s sewn everything from waxed jackets to sparkly ballroom gowns. But her biggest passion? Dogs- especially chocolate Labradors! If there’s a Lab around, you can guarantee she’ll be on the floor for cuddles.

It all started with Freddie, her 🤎 Lab, who needed a warm coat after hydrotherapy. One coat became four… and soon, Barker & Browns was born! Now, with Gill onboard, they’re a team, every coat is still handmade with care, laughter, and love.

Whether your dog is a barker, a brown, or something entirely different – welcome to the B&B pack!

What an incredible few days. 
 
Thankyou to all of you that came and supported us, whether that be our amazing brand reps who’s dogs were the most perfect models showcasing our designs around crufts.  
 
Our regular customers that we got to catch up with in person and to new customers who found us at Crufts and share the same love and passion for their dogs as we do!  
 
It’s such a lovely community we have built and we love to see your dogs in our designs. Please share and tag us in any photos you have. 
 
As you can imagine, things don’t now slow down after the Crufts Chaos as we have tonnes of orders to get through. There is currently around a 6-8 week turnaround time but please be patient, we promise it’s worth it!
